Sometimes, the local shops simply cannot match the price for internet purchases.
I've bought firearms over the internet 2 times now. Saving upwards of $300 over those two purchases. I see it this way. I may buy it over the internet, but I'll accessorize/upgrade locally.

The way I look at it-if you can save an appreciable enough amount to offset the shipping and transfer fees internet sales on firearms are a good route to go, otherwise I like to keep it local.
Sometimes if you are looking for that one special item then it is the only way to go.
But there is a caveat to web sales- everytime that a firearm is purchased online that makes it that much harder for the brick and mortar shops to keep their doors open.
We need our local shops and I like to support them whenever possible.
