Ar15 Id Help

It is a Colt AR15-A2 Gov. Model---Just don't know how old it is.

I'm guessing it was made right around 89 or 90. The tip-off is there is no bayonet lug. And they started putting sear blocks in right around 1990.

You can call Colt with the SN of the rifle and they'll tell you when it was made.

Sometimes. The colt I had they couldnt tell me anything about other then 16" carbine, no date though.
