Movie images flashed before me after reading this, like Dirty Harry "do you feel lucky, PUNK?" or Crocodile Dundee when the little idiot with a knife tries to rob him :).

Apparently they've had an upswing in armed robberies in the Springs over the last year or so. Seems that way reading the police blotter anyway.
