Byte, I'm pretty sure you and I are on the same page here. I wish open carry was a more accepted practice. And that businesses allowed open carry. I just don't think it is gonna get any more accepted.

We just need to educate these people as to why we have the right to open carry. To protect us and others around. But be nice, go put the pistol in the car walk back in, buy what ever and calmly explain why and if he doesn't like it then leave. But give him some thing to think about. my point is that of late there is an rampant abuse of power by those entrusted, elected as well as others playing the part and I am sick of it.
There seems to be no accountability and no regard for the consequences.
people aren't pulling over for Cops, because they are afraid... and that's just wrong on every level.
Then you have the elected ass-hats on TV saying it will be all OK... while the talking heads on the TV News tell us to have 6 Months of living expenses in our 401K or money market account just in case this doesn't Debt resolution go through.
no one has a realistic clue what to expect if the US Defaults.
