That's interesting that they didn't cut a check due to a lien on the car. Mine if finance with Audi and SF didn't even bring that up.
Thanks for the tip about Prestige. I actually sold Audis at the other big store in town before moving up to Porsche this past winter.

You can get a check made out to you and the CU and then you can take that check and pay off your loan or pay it down if you want. I've been at this for over 30 years so it should work. That's how I paid off my wifes car (cept it was sand damage). Only bad thing is if you wreck your car later and haven't had it fixed they will not pay to replace those partsd again.Quote:

If the damage is more than 75% of the worth of the car, sure it can total a car.
Most companies still use 75% I think?
Just got the estimate for my 2008 Ram 2500 POWER WAGON...... $10780. It will be in the shop next week. Second time in 8 months.
