Next club shoot is 10/21 up by Lyons.
Bring that AR so we can give it the CO-AR function check.
You can drive down for the Silencer Shoot on Saturday and we can get you started on a new addiction. :twisted:Quote:

I was also laying on the ground on top of a tarp and got quite uncomfortable after a while, so after I got it pretty close (top left target) I called it close enough. I'll actually head to a rifle range one of these days and zero it in on a nice bench rest.
I was using ADCOM M855 military surplus ammo that I picked up at Gander Mountain for $3.99/box. I put about 150 rounds downrange. It shot pretty consistently and I had no failures throughout the day. I also discovered that it will penetrate a quarter inch of steel from about 20 meters.
I have very limited experience shooting rifles (I've only shot a .22 before), but I found the M4A3 to be very easy to shoot and quite accurate. It was easy to quickly acquire targets and accurately put them down. I killed quite a number of sporting clays -- they looked at me wrong, and I can't stand that. I'm very pleased with my purchase so far.

Welcome, nice score w/ the Bushy and nice shooting!
I bought some of the same ADCOM stuff at the last Tanner show. Several (ok lots if you're picky like me) rounds had problems, so I advise you hand-check all if you haven't already. Several had significant creases, even weird baked-on smudge on the tip of one (showed a few of the worst to PsychoBoy iirc). Most of the ones I didn't like weren't seated quite straight in the case. Still, the ones that "passed" have shot as well as anything short of the pricey stuff so far.
Hope to meet you at the next North shoot. Cheers!
[I don't think Uncle Karl has any kitty snacks in his famous trunk though.]
