What could possibly go wrong with this idea?

Totally socialist idea, from a totally socialist state. Free homes for all! Why be burdened with something like a "home payment" - hmph, I, as an American, have a RIGHT to own a home FREE OF CHARGE to along with my free health insurance and government handouts. I have the RIGHT to not work yet be as equally rewarded as those stinking rich people who never pay taxes anyway.

Marxism at its best!

Passage of this bill would probably take foreclosure to the federal level. Federal judge would order eviction. Federal marshals would evict the tenant, then auction the house.

Why? Because banks are federally insured. They are NOT insured by the state. Federal law supercedes state law...

I would like to propose a ballot initiative here in Colorado to amend the Colorado Constitution making it illegal for Californians to own property, take up residence or vote within the state of Colorado.

I made it all the way to "Fundamental Right" and stopped reading.

That is ridiculous...what portion of the US Constitution could possibly be misconstrued to say that home ownership is a fundamental right?

I know that is for the California Constitution and sadly it's just that easy to have a state constitutional amendment added by a bunch of people voting wanting something for nothing.

What is going to happen to California? Seriously?
