No one in this case should be charged with a crime. Wells Fargo made the mistake not him. Who ever put those funds into the wrong account should be the one held responsible for the mixup.
In this case the *receiving stolen property* charge is one of the most incompetent charges I have ever heard of. How did he receive stolen property? Dont put $69,300 in the wrong account, it is that simple.

Nothing is free, especially the kind of money he got. Morally he was obligated to return it.
First off, come off your high horse there son, secondly you probably support TARP too eh? Where are the charges for the billions stolen by those folks? Fact is you seem to have no problem with these banks and CO's stealing from all of us but you are ready to crucify this kid for spending money the BANK put in his account! The kid spent money that wasn't his and should be punished as I said before, I did not say it was OK to steal from certain people, just because you draw conclusions with a big yellow crayon doesn't mean I have to.

I got a raise once that was suppose to be to $26 and hour, but they made it by $26 an hour to something like $49 an hour. Did not cash the check and went to the boss and gave it back. I knew it was wrong. Do the right thing and save your self some trouble.
