Then let me ask a question since I've heard that mentioned before. Isn't that entrapment? Are they just doing stings on armslist?

Same dude as the Shorty 12ga I think.
Did anyone tried to contact him?
I sent him a message, asked if he has the paperwork for a sbr. I won't get a response.
Armslist has an nfa section, so either he doesn't know, or maybe a setup?
There are a lot of dumb people in the world. It's easy to buy an upper for an AR pistol, install it on a rifle receiver. NFA? What's NFA? On another forum (or maybe this one) someone posted about shooting next to a guy who had an AR SBR. He asked about the rifle and the guy had never heard of an SBR.
could be a sting, but higher probability is he picked up a complete lower or a complete gun, then saw a pistol upper one day and thought it was cool and swapped them out.
Unless you look, you won't know the laws. and if he seemed smart enough to the guy at the counter selling the pistol upper, this guy may have never got the info that this is a no-no.
I really think the NFA laws are unfortunate. that gun would be perfectly legal without the stock on it, or perfectly legal with a longer barrel.
He responded to my email. He pulled the ad due to the "ignorance of buyers on armslist".
