are there rails available for it yet??
Firebird is the only company I know of who has made a commercially available rail. They are currently out of stock. I have seen two other rails which I thought were nicer then the Firebird but they were done by the owners on their own 1919's.
Ya'll wanted a report on how it functions. I have tried about 8 different types of bird shot and 6 different types of slugs for a total of 300 rounds so far. The manual says it will function 100% on full power loads but "light" loads are iffy and you are on your own. They are correct as mine will cycle 100% (no FTE or FTF's) if the fps is 1300 and higher. I can easilly find a good supply of both shot and slugs with those velocities and the prices are the same or cheaper then light loads. When I hit the 200 mark I was able to shoot "lighter" loads with fps of 1150 but only 80%. Tromix makes a $9 bushing that you can change out in about two minutes that will allow you to reliably cycle "light" loads in the 980 to 1100 range. I just have not gotten the bushing yet as I am waiting for when I need to order other items as the shipping alone is $8.
The Shark Brake recudes the felt recoil and muzzle climb by about 15%. The Enidine Hydraulic stock buffer reduces felt recoil by about another 40%. This however, is just a subjective estimate and not based on anything scientific. Perception is really all that counts anyway. I can shoot 3" magnum loads all day long with this set up and still have use of my arm.
I think that is it, any more questions? Hope this helps.

I just got one and it looks pretty interesting. Your is set up just about how I'd like to get mine set up. I don't want to get into a full blown 922R conversation, but when do you have to start counting parts and origins? When start putting collapsible stocks on or go away from the stock 5 round mags?
