Man Beaten, Arrested for Carrying Legal Gun -- or I'm from the government and I'm here to help..

Funny thing, I have been pulled over twice and both times handed all my pertinent info plus CCW permit to the officers. When asked I did advise them I was carrying and where on my person the weapon was located. Neither asked me to surrender my weapon or the like. One asked what I was carrying and when I told him he said good choice.
Both times were at night and when I pulled over I turned on the interior light.
Both times after running my info the officers returned all my info, advised me of why they pulled me over (expired tag by 10 days and taillight on the other)
No citations.

Out of 3 traffic stops in last 6 yrs. Different reactions each time.

1st after notification just had me step out while he went to passenger side, cleared it and ran the ssn.

2nd never had me get out and was fine leaving it along with my proof of insurance in the glove box.

3rd again left me in drivers seat, took my xdm back to his car (to be ran I assume or just to hold onto while doing his other stuff). Returned it to me field stripped with the excuse of not wanting me to cap him in the back as he went back to car. (also asked me what I know of ccw law without a permit etc, responded confidantly with CO law on why it can be concealed in vehicle/in glove box etc and I fully understand when I get out it would have to be open etc.) Backed down saying he'd have to check those laws out.


Of course 3rd is the only one that gave me a ticket.

At the very least! I don't like guns pointed at me.. especially by overzealous rookies.
