They want more government and they'll have it. It'll fun to watch what happens when they realize just exactly what they voted for.

The problem is that 52% of the nation is better off....It's the 48% of us that work, and pay taxes that aren't "better off"

They've been convinced or sold on the idea that they are better off. Those rewards will have to come to an end sometime and it'll be ugly when it happens. I cannot forecast when this will happen though.

A government big enough to give you everything you need is strong enough to take away everything you ever had.

Funny... I could have guessed he'd be running the exact same campaign from '08, BECAUSE IT'S STILL THE SAME! Well except that we have even less money, and more out of work...

Well, if he changed his whole platform, and ditched his goals that haven't been achieved for new ones, what kind of president would he be? A flip-flopper.

In happier news, my assistant - who is a black liberal - told me that she is not voting for BO this election because "he's totally screwed up this country in four years". Funny thing is that in 2008 she told me she was voting for BO because "he's black", when I told her "well, then I'm voting for McCain because he's white" - she called me a racist. Despite that lapse in judgement, there is a shiny little lining folks.
