American cheese, silly. And no, it wouldn't really be a "BLT" anymore, it would become a sandwich of awesomeness. Actually two eggs, over easy, so the goo runs all over your face. OMG, now THAT'S a sandwich!

Yes. Here's the deal:

• Cook bacon. Remove bacon from pan and set it on a paper towel.
• Fry up a few eggs in the bacon grease and melt the American cheese on top of them with a little salt n peppa.(REAL cheese is best too - not "processed cheese food" - WTF is that?)
• Get a hamburger bun (a real big one with sesame seeds), not one of the little pansy ones.
• Layer the eggs & cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato and enjoy your healthy breakfast.
• I usually slather it with some catsup (or ketchup if you prefer) and a bit of hot sauce.

I never had elk burger with bacon in it. Sounds freaking GREAT though. If I slay one this year I'm gonna do this.
