milk type jugs degrade. old 2 liters are better.

tap water is just fine. water does not go bad.

I got my Berkey water system from Farris and I get my replacement filters from them also. Small shop and Bob will talk your ear off if you have the time, but I shop there as much as I can to support a local business. IMHO Berkeys are the only way to go for water filtration.

Yes, it does. You need to look up water storage. Else you get algae or whatnot. Chlorine Bleach is the usual disinfectant.


There are also fluoride filters for the berki.

You might want to look it up yourself... Keep it out of the sun and you don't get algae as long as the lid is on. Water goes flat, never bad.

Water went bad. That's why we have algae, micro organisms, and then evolved into humans..... just sayin.....
