Under the base plate there is the piece that the mag spring connects to. On that plate there is a little hole in the center where that spring connects... perfect size for the little plug that goes in the butt end of a bic pen. Push it through the bottom of that plate, then put just the tube part of the bic pen on the top side inside the spring. Had to cut off maybe 1/4" of the pen tube and heat and form the end a little bit to tighten it up on the plug.
Free bic pen + $18 for a 20rd mag vs $40 for a 4rd mag... yes I take pens from the bank, that's what they get for not putting a chain on it

Lucky man, you've got someone on the inside! ALL THE FREE PENS YOU COULD EVER NEED! Start selling them as mag block kits... 100% profit. You're gonna be a millionare.

I prefer the short 5 round mags (or even the 10 round mags for coyotes). They might not look right, but the 30 round mags can get in the way when bench shooting, or shooting from a makeshift rest.
