not sure. I wouldn't think so. with early voting, mail in ballots, absentee ballots, etc.
It is possible it would keep those who wouldn't normally vote out of the state if they left, or in their homes and boarded up. but it might also open up the possibility for people to cast multiple ballots if there is some mass hysteria. Of course all of this is going to happen anyways.
I don't think it will be that terrible of a storm, just lots of rain, some snow etc. nothing a little prepping wouldn't let you make it through.
Delaying the election would create a huge constitutional firestorm. If you thought Bush v. Gore was bad, just wait for someone to try to take THIS to court. Won't happen this year anyway as the poll trends show any delay in the election would be bad for Obama. In fact, if he had his way, we should have held the elections in July (with appropriate early/multiple voting, of course).
This storm is going to have to evolve into more than it is to delay an election. And, if it did, this country is litigious enough to make things a nightmare.
