Perfectly legal if you only do it a few times. There are a few guys on armslist who clearly have a sidebusiness reselling handguns though.

Get a new hobby, if this bothers you. You must not have been around in 89.
BTW: Principle has nothing to do with getting yours while the gettin's good.
NOW if you told a buyer the price is X and then reneged that's bad form. You either honor your word / handshake or you don't. If it's the latter, sooner or later everyone will know it.

I want to buy a 1969 chevelle super sport with cowl induction factory original 396 for the amount they came off the show room floor. What they're like $35.000? That's almost 10 times what they sold for BRAND new! Catch my drift?
So you're mad that you sold someone a gun and they turned around and sold it for a higher profit????
I offered someone 400 for a gun, he said okay, then contacted me a half hour later saying a bunch more guys contacted him so he was raising the price to 500 and it would go to the "highest bidder." Pissed me off. Ad is down now.
Fucking flippers annoy me, but whatever . . . if someone wants to pay triple what a gun is worth that is up to them. No respect for the jerks trying to sell zinc saturday night specials at S&W prices, and less respect for the idiots who pay those prices.
