al jazeera buys Current TV

I thought Al Gore "invented" Al-Jazeera ?[LOL]

What's funny (well not really) is that they refused to sell Current TV to Glenn Beck because they said"the legacy of who the network goes to is important to us and we are sensitive to networks not aligned with our point of view."

Gore tried to "slam" through the deal last week to avoid paying the higher cap gains tax. Smart, yes, but also hypocritical after just a month ago preaching about paying "fair share".
