That and that front railed gas block is not "Rail height".................................[LOL]

In all fairness, I run my front MBUS reversed. According to Magpul, the front can go either way, and the previous owner of the sight ground off the release lever on one side. So I'm kinda short of options till I go with another front sight. But yeah, mounting an MBUS on a standard gas block= bad juju.
I don't mind iron sights backwards. It's just a peephole. Why would it matter which way was the front when you're looking through a circle? Same with the front sight. It's a post.
I run my front sight reversed, for no other reason than it takes up less real estate on the rail, and I don't have to worry about clearance issues. Though I can't see any reason to run the rear sight reversed for the same reasoning.
Might be a forthcoming "Restriction" in the Feinstein bill.
"All firearms with open sights, are prohibited from being installed the forward and proper direction. Open sights are only allowed to be installed and used for function when installed backwards, sideways, upside-down-ways, slanted, skewed to the right/left/up/down, or in any otherwise manner to render them useless for acquiring a target."
