Okay,this is one of those "a friend of a friend says" posts.
I work with a very active target shooter who says his sister works for Federal Ammunition. Since things has blown up due to the Sandy Hook tragedy, Federal has not been allowed to ship any ammunition. The word is that every shipment must be inspected & approved by a .fed inspector before it can leave the plant. One particular truckload was ready to be loaded when the inspector claimed the packaging was "too dirty". Federal re-packaged the entire shipment & then the inspector denied it out-of-and with no reason provided. Since that point, according to the co-workers sister, the shipments have been backing up and they've run out of room to store it.
I'm curious if there are similar stories with other ammo manufacturers.
Sorry, but I think that is myth. I have direct contact a 2 major ammo manufacturers, and James another, no such thing.
