One of the most unfortunate things about gun owners is each subgroup only seemingly worrying about their own little corner of the sport. A pheasant hunter who owns Purdey shotguns isn't the least bit bothered by AR's being banned - those rifles are of no use or interest to him. From what the repub congress has said, and the yellow belly dems, wont be no vote. Doubt they could muster enough support.

The Dems have Senate seats coming in the mid-terms in heavily contested states. They may not even pass it in the Senate. If it does, it's dead in the House.
