So if anyone proposes any changes to the Constitution, that's the same as advocating the overthrow of the constitutional form of our government? How would you view the initiators of the PATRIOT ACT, then, in view of its impact on the 4th Amendment?

Sorry, I wasn't serious. There are actually provisions in place which grant members of Congress immunity from being arrested or charged with violation of their oath of office while in session. I don't have the specific reference handy, but I'll try to track it down.
ETA: Here it is:
Congressional immunity refers to a special immunity that is granted to members of Congress. The following are the exemptions granted to the members of Congress under congressional immunity :
1. A Congress member is exempted from arrest while attending a session of the body to which the member belongs, excluding an arrest for treason, breach of the peace, or a felony, or;
2.A Congress member is exempted from arrest or interrogation for any speech or debate entered into during a legislative session.
In In re Grand Jury, 821 F.2d 946 (3d Cir. Pa. 1987), it was held that congressional immunity is an evidentiary privilege that is applied broadly to evidence or testimony about all acts that occur in the regular course of the legislative process. It therefore applies to activity taken in the course of legislative fact-finding.
Here's a better description of Congressional Immunity:

lol sorry. I'll throw in a wink wink, nod nod, say no more, say no more next time.
The Bill Of Rights isn't anything that was "granted" it was set up to prevent the state from infringing on our natural rights of liberty and property. So by compromising the Second Amendment these tyrants are saying that our natural rights are not fully protected. Since they've been chipping away at the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Amendments for years, it makes sense that disarming the citizenry. Especially those that are awake enough to care that their natural rights have been infringed upon. If they hate the Second Amendment so much, there is a legal way to amend the constitution, but why bother with that. [Bang]
