Fair enough.

Please, school me. tell me exactly how the hell I should "start a conversation about it besides posting a link and some copy and text." Maybe I should ask a question? Oh wait, I did that. So why don't YOU tell me the proper way to do it? You know, like when you ask others if they've heard of this, and can corroborate what they've heard?
OK, then prove to them that you are not a nut case if that is so and end of story. It did state "mentally or physically" unable. There are veterans under the VA's care that are not mentally competant enough to be around firearms anymore, nor are they or will ever be phsically able. Any Dr. would do the same thing, not just the VA. Since every active shooter in the past 10 years has been mentally ill, I would say that a bit of proactiveness is warranted. Don't act like this is the 1st time the VA has made things difficult for their patients; Ii's the only thing they are good at.
Okay- is Huffpost (ick) a better fit?

I didn't realize that I selected a not-so-good site from the many links I found when I Googled. I picked it at random. All I wanted to know is if anyone had heard anything about this- or God forbid, received a letter.
It was about Poplawski shooting in PIttsburgh.. AJ defended and retracted his statement later on. He said something about citizen have the right to shoot cops etc. Do not quote me as I don't remember the details. It was extreme enough that steered me away from anything to do with AJ since then.
Sorry for the derail.. but in the past, few members were warned about posting link from that site here.
Carry on...
And if it was from Huffington Post it would be dismissed as lib. spooge. Planet-infowars is not a scholarly source I would reference.
I appreciate the OP bringing it up but if there is a full list on Google, a more reputable source would make a difference.
This coming on the heels of having to deal with one of the most disreputable sources in the state.
