People can do what they want but some guns should just stay fuddly. They cost as much as a pump action. Go with the pump.

Only thing I would change is removing the underbarrel rail - mounting a flashlight to it would weigh the barrel down to where the pointability isn't a big feature anymore. May as well have a 5 shot magazine for that.
I love me some over unders, but I have no need for one of these. I'll keep my Benelli M2 for that kind of work.
Although it does offer a shorter overall profile for minimum legal barrel length, so there is that, but so does a KSG.
Tactical retro? Reminds me of the old western movies with the guy riding shotgun on the stagecoach...
I'm mixed... it looks "cool" but my old man has a really freaking nice Beretta o/u and with those kind of shotguns, call me old fashioned, I like when they look more like this:

Note: This is NOT the one my dad has (I'll try and get pics up one day), but very similar, although the father's o/u is much older, like 1960's/70's.
Big R in conifer had one a while back. Might give them a call.
Why would you pay the same price for this as a 500 or 870?
I would rather have an old hammer style coach gun
That is a nice little gun. I dig it
I have one of the Stoeger side by sides in 20ga. It's very handy, and shoots well. My wife takes it when she has to go outside at night and investigate goings-on, shut off the irrigation water and that sort of thing when I'm deployed; the rail under the front is perfect for a light so she can keep both hands on the shotgun and still have a light. We have BIG raccoons, skunks, coyotes, and other critters outside at night, and if she (or I, when I'm home) need to dispatch one this works perfectly.
As an aside, one difference between the Stoegers is that the side by side has ported barrels. They both have high visibility fiber-type front sights for daytime use.
I generally prefer over/unders of which I have several, and I have a couple of pump guns; however this little side by side works well. Yes, you can get a pump for what this costs. I don't really give a darn; just like some people prefer lever actions to semi autos or bolts. This gives you two rounds as fast as you can pull the trigger, and that works for us.
