I can vouch for that... One of our DS's got super pissed- it was actually funny because they're not allowed to curse anymore... And they can't hit PVTs. We're training, during a time of war- if you mess up, you should get a nice smack, at the very least. But they are allowed to use any and all means to avoid injury/loss of life on the range with live ammo. [Beer]
I don't really care enough to research where the FB post originated. This looks like she left her FB account open and one of her friends (male most likely) thought it would be fun to post this and sit back to watch the shit storm.
If not, I truly pity this person.
Not sure- We didn't have them when I was going through- but we did get an FTX cancelled on us due to "the worst ice storm Ft. Leonardwood had seen in 15 years." But when I was in AIT I was held over for 3 weeks before our classes began and some of the people in my class from Ft. [Relaxin'] Jackson said that they were issued "stress cards." I thought it was ridiculous pussy shit.
Nope, seems legit for DS #2 to do that... They warned us of just that when we were starting Basic Rifle Marksmanship... One even said "Privates, I will dent the shit out of your K-POD if you make any safety violations on my range... got me?" He was awesome!
I have soldiers that went through about 1-1/2 years ago and they admitted having them. There are times when some of old guys in the shop get on them pretty bad and two of them are members here.
I know one of them would like his stress card to deal with the older guys since most of us came in between 80-86. I still remember one DI that loved to throw rocks at our steel pots. [Rant1]
Stress cards? [ROFL1][ROFL2][ROFL3][LOL]
We were across from the USADSS barracks in Ft Jackson. Talk about stress.
I went through back in '02, on the first day (shark attack) I made the mistake of laughing at a drill sergeant because he was 4 foot nothing and kept jumping up and down to yell at me and reach eye contact.....I kept my nose clean after that.
As I posted on AKFiles in regards to this supposed Facebook post.. The Facebook image posted does not look like the Facebook app on my Verizon phone. Without some outside confirmation that this was actually on her page (you can't tell, her page is private and only friends can see what she posts) I think it's a fake. Some guy in his parents basement probably picked a random Facebook profile and made this up. Better yet, what a great way for an "anti" to make a large group of gun enthusiasts look like complete morons and assholes by getting them to falsely attack some innocent girls facebook page.
I tend to stay out of threads like this...
Sniper Company posted this 9 hours ago, I saw it right after they posted. Her Facebook page was already locked up at that time and it has not changed the 3 other times I looked at it today despite the claims I have seen elsewhere of people claiming to have left messages at points in time after I saw it.. The facebook post looks nothing like my Facebook app.. I'm saying this is a fake until someone proves otherwise.
This is what a screenshot form the Facebook app (grabbed off the internet) looks like: Notice the border around the post as well as the location of the time stamp of when the post was made which is under the user name, not the bottom of the post as in the scam image in the OP. There should also be the options for "Like" and "Comment".

If you go to an actual status is has the same border
