Not much of a cigar smoker but love the aroma. On occasion I'll have one with the fellas... Arturo Fuentes Short Story with Jameson. A gentleman's pipe loaded with Sutliff 1M and Stranahans that is where it's at! Glad to hear there are other pipe smokers out there. Maybe I should start a new thread?
I'm all over. I had a Camacho Triple Maduro tonight. Have had a few La Flor Dominica Double Ligeras recently and really liked them. I have also been grabbing La Historia box press Toros lately. My go-to are the La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amore Reserva and the My Father Le Bijou 1922 torpedoes.
First "real cigar" I had (non-7/11 bought) was a macanudo...or so I thought. That was in 1997, I found countless sticks that I love with since then so I sort of fell out of love with the Macs, until now...

I also have a bundle of Gurkha's headed to my door, I'll update then...
JR is blowing Gurkha cigs out right now. BIG. TIME!

The Gurkha Beast and Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro have been my recent favorites!
Just wanted to toss in a plug for my buddies at Edwards Pipe and Tobacco in Englewood, on Broadway, 1 block N. of Hampden. GREAT cigar shop! Go see 'em, tell 'em Ron sent ya (that'll hang 'em up - Ron who?).
Back from the dead
Had a Partagas black label tonight. Old favorite, been a long time since I have enjoyed a cigar. Any recommendations on same style of stick.
I have a humidor now. Maybe I can play along next time I break out a stogie.
I have a hand full in the freezer. Picked up some nice ones from a Portland tobacco shop (before the stupid broke out). Picked up a couple of pipe tobaccos too. With spring approaching, I'm definitely going to be spending time in the back yard.
I like cigars and I like bourbon/scotch but not together. I usually smoke with coffee or a bitter beer.
I'll check cigar names tomorrow.
My favorite place is World Class Cigars on Wadsworth, just South of I-70 on the East side of Wads. Not the biggest, but he's always had good prices on the cigars that I like (Drew Estate), and carries the Root.
My buddy was telling me that he went golfing with a rich buddy and had a $20 cigar and it was the best he'd ever had. I tried it and wasn't convinced that the price matched the flavor. I'll post the name when I can remember, but it's a pretty popular one. Anyway, I tried done of the higher dollar stuff from Aging Room and I thought they were good for the price. I think I had the $12 or $16 one.
I believe the last one that I enjoyed was a Deadwood Sweet Jane. There was a Cohiba that I had on a cruise to Alaska that I liked. Maybe their Red Dot?
My go to is El Rey Del Mundo Robusto Larga. I won't turn down a real Cuban or a cigars made in Miami by real cubans...but neither of those happen often for me. So I go with the El Rey.
I'm having a $3 Caballeros right now. Nothing fancy but fits the bill. For the price, I'm a fan of the Factory Smokes from Drew Estates. They make the Deadwood cigars.
The gentleman that now runs Edward's Tobacco used to be a vendor that would call on me when he was selling oil and gas tools. He's a good guy so I strongly recommend anyone to stop by there.
Had a CLE Prieto Y Prensado today nice smoke
