SOMEBODY'S shooting .22lr. Every time I go out to Ben Lomond there's piles of fresh .22lr brass in every range.
Dick's is having a buy one, get one 50% off. $25 for a box of 325.
Every now and then I time Walmart right; I just got 3 boxes of 325rd Federal Auto match for $17.42 per box last week. I refuse to pay the 22lr markups at the cost of my 9mm reloads so I wait and get it for the "normal" price when it's available. Dicks has deals every now and then; so does Palmetto.
Last month the south Cabelas had the 525 round packs of CCI Blazer for right around $27 per box.

I don't like dicks, but thanks for the Intel.
Yeah, nobody likes dicks.
Yeah, Dick's is pretty terrible.
MED got a killer deal on the Federal .22- that's right at cost for your average retailer. The big box stores can always out gun the little guys. They make money in so many different ways. We beat them in customer service and product expertise.
86 thousandths of a cent per round? Helluva sale IMO ...
Well, I've been patient.
It's easy to find 22 around town. The question is , what price are you willing to pay. If it's 10c + a round for plinking quality a lot of shops have it. If 5c a round is more like it, check into Walmart when you happen to drive by and have spare time. Last week I popped into Walmart in evergreen to take a leak and decided to check on the 22 inventory. Caught them sticking the shelf. Scored 3 boxes of auto match for a great price. They were also stocking 3 other varieties. I choose the auto match as it was the best bang for the buck and also the most quantity per box being there is a limit of 3. A month ago my wife and I popped into Walmart at flatirons and they had the bus boxes of Remington. 6 went home with us. 5c a round.
