What do you think about Saturday? Will the weather cooperate?
Weather looks good so far.
Will there be a new shooter safety class? I have a friend whom I'd like to invite.
Hmm. Might have to give this one a try some time. Looks like fun.
Bring your friend. This is a new-shooter friendly event.
If you guys want to register early, you can do so at this link:

My son and I are looking to shoot tomorrow. What time-ish does the match end? We might have to bail early due to a previous engagement.
We just zero'd at 100 and might stop at the silhouette range really fast to see where the guns are hitting at 200 before coming over.
We typically finish about 2pm but if you guys need to leave earlier than that, you can always shoot through.

Good shooting with everyone yesterday, had a lot of fun, met some cool people, and actually pulled a decent finish somehow. Heres a couple vids of stages 3 and 4 in glorious 1080p off my Go Pro.
Stage 3 "Speedy"

Stage 4 "The Bridge Too Far"

I actually took the stage on this one, apparently accuracy by volume is a real thing. lol
Thanks again to Cy and crew for a great match.

Yup. I noticed that your score was missing on stage 1 but another shooter told me you had to leave and couldn't shoot the stage.

Thanks to all for a great match. It was nice to get back out after almost a year. The new hip held up well, its the shooting I need to work on now. Thanks to Alan and Brandon for all the tips and help with our squad.
Another one coming up on Saturday, right?
We will not be holding a USPSA Rifle Match in June. The MD sent me an email this morning and asked me to cancel this coming weekend's match. Sorry about that.
Bummer. The Boy and I will probably go out and run some drills. Already have clearance from Nurse Cratchet to go out. Bummer we won't have the cooler toys or movement.
I am bummed too. I would have hoped that the MD would have decided to run it. The weather tomorrow is going to be super-nice.

Is there a match on Saturday? If so, what's the start time and is there a new shooter safety briefing if I bring a friend?
Yes, we will be hosting the USPSA Rifle event this coming Saturday. Set up begins at 7:30am and the match itself at 9:00am.
We always run an abbreviated safety briefing before every match and, if your friend is really new to firearm events, we will be happy to explain things more in-depth.
The "official" match call email will go out on Thursday night.
I hope to see you guys on Saturday!
Thanks a lot, Cy!!! Do you know if there is a new policy on letting guns cool before bagging? It'll be hot out, and I already have too much bag goo on the barrel. It actually smells when I shoot.
Truth be told, I do not know. It is up to the Match Director and that is Bradley.
Personally, my vote is to set up tables at each stage where we can stage the rifles and bag then between stages. I will share my idea with him and see if he agrees.

Thank you for such a great match!!! CAN'T WAIT until next month!
Are we on for tomorrow? 9:00 shooter's meeting, right?
Edit:. Well, crap. I just read the cancellation announcement on the Google group. :-(
Yup. Cancelled. Sorry about this; I need to have a heart-to-heart with the current Match Director and we need to make some changes. I don't like having to cancel this event when the weather is promising to be this nice but I didn't sign up to run this event solo. My apologies for having cancelled tomorrow's match!! -Cy
How do we join the google group?

Hello Cy, I hope Saturday's match doesn't get cancelled. The weather will be perfect for an especially high round count match! :-)
The current match director has a family event that will keep him from shooting on that day and he suggested we cancel the match. Nonetheless, personally, I am tired of all the cancellations so I'm going to go ahead with the match anyway.
I will need help with the setup but, unless an unexpected event happens between today and Saturday, we will have a match.
Stay tuned for the official match call email later this week!

You the man Cy!
That's pretty cool, Cy.
Cy, you're the BEST!
By, can you send me the email? Esaabye at yahoo please. How many stages do you run?
I send Match Call emails and Match Results via a Google Groups mailing list.
I am not the Group Admin so I cannot add emails, however, you can join the group by visiting:
ecouspsa.com/results.html
My plan is to send the "Official" Match Call email via this Google Groups tomorrow (Thursday).

Thanks, I am signed up.
The "official" match call email went out a few moments ago. Saturday's match is a 'GO'
Setup starts at 7:30am and the match itself at 9:00am. If you can help with the setup, please show up early as we will be short on staff.
Here is the online registration link: https://practiscore.com/crc-uspsa-ri...70902/register
You do not have to register online; you can register at the range on the morning of the event. However, the online registration makes things easier for me so, if have a minute, please consider registering via the posted link. The match fee is not paid until the morning of the match.
Great fun yesterday. Thanks again for that Cy. Great fun talking to all the Erics.
Thanks a lot, Cy! Great match and you also made my friend Michael feel welcomed at his first ever match!
