One good thing about baseball is I didn't see one player taking a knee during the national anthem.

Hey, Ray? Did you get the express written consent of Major League Baseball for that picture? [Coffee]
Always fun to watch a game like that at Coors Field. Every time I go, the Rockies end up doing well, too bad they usually disappoint by the end of the season. Maybe this year will be different.
I got a little sunburnt at the game yesterday. Next time I'll bring sunscreen or maybe go to a night game.
My 7th grader plays on his school team and my 9th grader on JV and usually 2 games a week on Varsity, so I see about 6-7 games a week of them. So I don't watch the Rockies as much as I would like, but they are off to a great start and it is fun to catch a game here and there. That Bullpen looks legit and they seem to have great chemistry as well.
Rockies are kicking ass.
It's a shame they still aren't getting the respect they deserve. Currently sitting with the second best winning percentage in all of baseball and the best in the National League, two of the top three RBI leaders are Rockies, one of the rookie starting pitcher is tied for 2nd with the most wins, and Holland leads the league in saves at 23-0.
But last I looked the "experts" still had seven or eight teams ahead of them favored to make it to or win the World Series. And the all star voting (which we all know is a joke because the "fans" get to vote) seem to be totally overlooking the likes of Blackmon and Reynolds.
Maybe if they win the whole thing this year people will pay more attention next year.
I always enjoyed a Rocks game. Love the stadium.
Best we can do here is the LCSC (Lewis Clark State College) Warriors. They won their third NAIA World Series Championship in a row last Fri (also their 19th World Series Championship) at home here in Lewiston. Couldn't make a game this year, though.
So far this season has continued to be impressive.
Quality starts and stoppers in the bull-pen. They had everything else the last few years as far as talent. Developing young arms and having a coaching staff that knows how to manage the game is another part of the formula. Bud Black continues to impress me.
