I figured he would end up as a suicide bomber. I just thought he would do it where he was making the bombs, accidentally. Now we just have to be careful, there could be more packages in transit.
At least we don't have to spend next 20 yrs hearing about his appeals.
I'm sure facebook deleted access to his account. Digital forensics taking place now, to see if it was a conspiracy. My instincts say he is a loner on this case. I may be wrong though.
Well, here we go with the agenda based MSM.
Headlines are he's a "homeschooled Christian".
They just can't help but print insignificant garbage when they think it will hurt the right wing.
Don't worry we'll be seeing photos of him wearing a MAGA hat any day now.
And then Trump will be asked to step down because one of his "followers" is a loon (of course nobody is asking Bernie to step down over the Republican baseball shooting).
Just like how they won't release his name, yet every single article I've read says it, if it's not right in the headline?
The timeline has advanced. This morning before work, no name. They usually have a school shooter's name out quicker. I'm not surprised his name finally got out, especially if it makes him look like a right wing nutter.
From what I can tell, the police haven't released his name but those around the incident have revealed his name. This morning's news also had his age at 24, while other reports say 23.
his blog suggests this may be an accurate depiction and that he was also anti-gay.

The link to the blog was derived from an article on LGBTQ nation which appeared in my fb feed from a friend's post.

That was 6 years ago. A lot can change with a person in 6 years.
Not impossible at all. Nothing wrong with changing how you feel about things, especially when you're just a normal person and not a politician.
Sure can.
5 years ago I'd never been to a single church service. Since then I've been baptized and even gotten so involved in church that I was elected to our board of decons.
People change even more than that in shorter periods of time.
Maybe we'll get to hear the 25 minute confession at some point. That would be a lot more significant than a random, class required blog post from 6 years ago.
I'd put money on him being gay and hating himself for it. Hid it from his conservative family.
First two victims appear to have quite possibly been of the gay persuasion.
Just my bet.
I think the whole "hates gays so must be secretly gay" trope is more wishful thinking on the part of people who promote gay rights, used as a rhetorical bludgeon, than it is a real thing.
Based on the fact that he recorded a 26 minute "confession" video and it didn't contain any sort of politically of culturally driven "call to action" (if it did we'd have all heard about it ... especially if it was anything to the right of Noam Chomsky). My money is that he suffered from a dissociative personality disorder of some sort (no, not dissaociative identity disorder, aka "multiple personality disorder" but one of the other forms). Or maybe even full blown schizophrenia.
Like most people that murder randomly, its just nutters, not some sort of terrorism.
The two must necessarily be conjoined, lest a person fight against themselves and truth. The religious necessarily informs the political. If it's the other way around, a person has a major problem to reconcile.
I'd be willing to bet real money he was on some sort of meds to treat a mental problem.Quote:

I'm sad people haven't figured it out yet.
If the beliefs/motivations can be used against Conservatives, they will be released.
If the belief/motivations are damaging to Libs, they will be reworked or hidden.
Social media is part of media.
Guy could have been 100% mental. Being mental doesn't move the needle for Libs so that's seldom a story.
+1 Skip
With the collective ADD our society has I figure the golden hour for the left/media to make hay has long passed. This episode will join the Las Vegas shooting as an anomalous footnote in the history of this decade.
"Austin serial bomber was part of a Christian survivalist group that spoke of weapons and dangerous chemicals"
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...ist-group.htmlQuote:
'A lot of us were very into science; we would discuss chemicals and how to mix them and which ones were dangerous,' Schultz, now 21, said.
'We were into weapons and stuff. A lot of us did role-playing, and (role-playing games); we'd have foam weapons and act out a battle.'
Schultz, who described Conditt as a 'normal kid', said she couldn't recall bombs or bomb making ever being discussed at the RIOT groups. She added that other members of their group were shocked to hear Conditt was behind the deadly Austin bombings.
Survivalists against what, a bad roll in D&D? Sound like a bunch of nerds more than a "survivalist" group.
*AGHAST* Did you just confuse D&D players with LARPERS?
OH NO, YOU DIDN'T.
Attachment 73968
Oh, Dr. Grey. You're such a nerd. I love it. [Coffee]
Well, now you know better. LARPers occupy the second-lowest rung of the ladder, only above furries. [Shake]
The original D&D players (as with other role-players, because there are other games) are CEOs, business owners, or other kinds of successful individuals. So neener, neener! ;)
Cav and Kazoo, take it to PM, quit derail.
Austin Bomber = fuck-head.
That is the most cowardice way to be.........kill civilians.
Way to go, fag.
