FWIW - I got tired of always chasing my HC hangtag placard around, damn thing was always out of reach somewhere, and I won't leave it on the mirror when I'm driving.
I have some peel n' stick Velcro, so I cut a 1" piece of it, put the fuzzy part on the back of the placard and the hook part on top of my dash. Now it's always handy, right under the mirror where I can see it and always remember to hang it when I park.
Just a tip from yer ol' Uncle Ron.....
I went with plates AND AZ gives you 3 max. hand tags. Here's the interesting part. that 3 is per year.
As a side note. While in CA visiting the daughter and S-I-L. We went out for dinner. being peak dinner time i told them well parking shouldn't be an issue i have my hand tag.
DAD!. This is CA, Everyone is Disabled.
The Merc GL450 had dual sun shades, so putting it under the 2nd shade made it easy. In my Ram, there's a slot behind the cup holder that holds it nicely.
(...and no, that wasn't me at Scheel's).
That is a good idea with the velcro. I just don't like anything on the dash. The velcro could be used in multiple locations.
Yeah Mercedes benz mirror sucks for placecard.
