I have looked for them 2-3 times now, and could not find them. Just to take a look at his wares. Glad i did not find it. I will stick with the guy that i have been going to for the last 20 years and that is Tom and Joe's Firearms.

Scary thought... I was about to go there and get my 1911 once I get back from this deployment. Any other horror stories I should know about?
+1 for Denver Guns and Ammo..
They've always treated me well and respectfully. Great prices on Sigs too. I have purchased more the a few guns from them.
We all have different experiences. Some of us have an axe to grind, some don't.
+1 also. I just bought a DPMS LR308. $1000+change. The were great, very happy with them and I will go back. Good stock of ammo, prices not great about the same as online. But like everyone, the sell out quick.
EDIT: Well didn't take long for them to change my mind. Went there last week to chat with the owner about purchasing a 1911. He asked what I wanted to spend. Told him I was coming into a little money and would go up to $1000. He was interested and we chatted awhile and told him I'd be back today.
Unfortunately I didn't get as much cash as I thought, so when I went back today I was planning on getting some ammo, mags and a less expensive pocket gun in 380 or a wheel in 357/38 for about $550 or possibly a bit less. I had $150 worth of merchandise sitting on the counter and when I mentioned that my gun purchase was not going to be the 1911 I had looked at, but one for only about half as much he sort of nodded and walked around the counter and began talking to another customer. I was still in mid sentence and was flabbergasted.
I left the stuff on the counter and walked out. Second time something like that happened since I bought my LR308.
Last dime I'll ever spend there. They obviously don't need my money.

I'll admit I don't check the reviews often but having made a purchase here today I wondered what the rep was. I'm told the store recently expanded into the space next to them and has doubled in size so they must be doing something right. Went here for the first time a month ago, today was my 3rd visit.
Usually two folks working, the Russian(owner?) and someone else. They have a great selection of Sig and I played with some 220s last time I was there. Went in today to buy. Spent a good 7-10 minutes focused on a case on specific gun and got no assistance. Now I'm in sales and get the balance of "can I help you" the second you walk in the door vs letting you get comfortable and they were on the long side of keeping me waiting. Granted there were two other customers making purchases but a quick hello would be ok. Finally had to hang out at the main counter to get some help.
I knew what I wanted and things were fine from there out. Paperwork done quickly, the owner rang me up and I was on my way.
Prices seem a bit lower than the ranges and big box, on par with other independents. They do have a lot of Sigs in stock and that's my thing lately so bonus.
Maybe a little rough around the edges but nothing like past experiences. Maybe they have improved, YMMV.
-1, I was heading down Wadsworth today and saw a sign for GUNS, so I had to go and check it out. Walked in, two dudes behind the counter and on guy on the consumer side of the counter and they are all just talking and BS'ing. The big russion guy makes eye contact with me and I nod my head to him in a slight greeting motion and he goes right back to talking to his buddy. Well right off the bat I dont like this place. I walked around for a few minutes and looked at all of their over priced accessories walked towards the counter, where the three guys were still talking it up, just to see what else was in the store and again the rude Russian guy looks right at me and just as fast looks away and talks to his buddy again. I took an IMMEDIATE right turn and walked out the door.
Never a single word was said to me, not even a single head nod, or a "hello". Nada, zip, zero.
I will NEVER go back to this place again. There is nothing I dislike more than being ignored when walking into a retail store.
I will stick with Ark Tactical whick is a MUCH better store with far more friendly and helpful staff.
-1 for you Denver Guns.
I told ya...
I met a guy there to do an trade and paperwork a couple weeks ago. My experience was excellent. The guys, both the owner and the helper were very friendly. The prices were pretty darn good for a brick and mortar. Better than the box stores. They had complete Spikes lowers for like 279.99. They had a pretty good selection of handguns and rifles...
They had a good selection of .223, 308, and 7.62 ammo. They had fully processed once-fired military .223 brass which I wasn't finding for anywhere online or otherwise for a reasonable price...
As a matter of fact, I tried to use my credit card, but it had split and they couldn't run it. I told the owner, I'd be right back just going to run over to an ATM.. He didn't take any issue and basically said no problem. Came back a few minutes later and we completed the sale…
So, no issues...
^^^^ This! My experience exactly! I have never made it in there until a few weeks ago. I live about 15 min away so I figured I better stop by and take a look. I walked in and didnt get a hello or a nod from three different dudes in there! One guy looked up at me and went right back to what ever he was doing. I looked around for maybe a minute (I will say they had a pretty big inventory) and turned around and left........never to return! Not a place I would want to give my hard earned money to.
I just bought a consignment Remington 700. No issues, the owner was pretty nice. He did yell at a guy for looking at guns because he had wasted a bunch of his time and then backed out on a purchase. He said he had to fill out a BGC before he would let him look at anymore items.
As a customer thats bullshit...
As a business owner, it makes sense.
I've lived 15 minutes from the store since they opened and haven't visited because of poor COAR reviews.
Maybe it's because I'm in sales and hate being bothered when I'm just shopping but I really don't mind this store. Yeah I'm not going to hang out and shoot the shit like at Noah's but the Russian has always been hospitable. Most times when I walk in I know what I want, if they have if I buy if. The few times I've needed education on something they have gave me the information I wanted. I also like they have rifles accessible without having to ask for someone to pull from behind counter.
My 2 cents. YMMV.
Even if they'd be the only gun store in CO - they'll NEVER see any of my money!
V for vendetta.
I finally went with a friend and thought I'd give my opinion. The store is a mess with gun related items and ammo randomly placed throughout the store. The "Russian guy" was helping another customer who appeared to be a repeat customer. Some lady behind the counter was customer service oriented. I won't purposely avoid the store from now on but I also don't see a reason to rush back there next weekend.
Yeah no one ever explained the idea of product placement and merchandising to those guys.
They have strategic product placement, you have to look through the whole shop to find what you are looking for, therefore increasing the chance for impulse purchases on items you weren't actually interested in.......
