now I need some glass. Saving and selling to get a S&B....
I spent more than I'm worth, as a shooter, but I'm hoping to grow into it. I hope to shoot to around 800 yards...
nope, not an empty sock. I was just sloppy putting it on. A Gemtech Quicksand is hiding underneath.

Thanks! It's a Manners T5-A. Fits me better than the McMilan.
I picked up an Ishapore 308 for a couple hundred at Tanner a few months back. It had already been bastardized, so I tore it down. I took it to Bert at BP Tactical do his magic to the barrel. He put a nice crown and threaded it for the YHM 308 Flash Hider. I went with a scout scope config with this one. I blasted and durocoated the metal and added the paint to a sporterized poly stock Here it sits next to a stock 303. I did a line bore sight in with it so far. Need to get it out to the range soon.
Should start another thread on this one... but I'd be glad to show you what I know (which is very little), and let you put a few rounds through my rifle... Just try to make one of these Pawnee shoots we go to [Beer]
but to keep it going... here's my new project REM 597 22lr[Flower]

Thought I would share a couple of mine, the bolt gun is a ER Shaw rifle that I had built last year has a 20inch flutted bullbarrel in 308 great gun and is left handed. Second is my Springfield M1A. Not as coo as some of these, but I am really digging them. Now if I could just shoot these better... [Coffee]</p>
My current hunting rifle. Its a weatherby MkV in .270 weatherby with a 27in Brux barrel. 4 shots at 1000 yards measured out at 7 3/4 inches. Shooting 130gr. Berger vld's.

I'll be working on getting a Schmidt on this one too [Coffee]
Just got done today. This will be its final form until the suppressor is paid for, and arrived. Then after that I might have someone do some action work, but it shoots better than I do for the time being.

Thats a great set up Matt, looks nice, miss my T2 sometimes!
I got out to the range yesterday. Shooting from a real bench was a pleasant treat. Wind was around 10mph, so it wasn't much of a factor. After last week I put a cleaning rod in a drill with a swab brush wrapped in 0000 steel wool. With a little oil, I polished it for a few minutes, then did a complete clean and oil.
These were all shot at 100yds. On the 5 shot group, the second shot went off before I was ready.

steel wool, on a drill, in your bore, for a few minutes....... that's 'interesting'.....
Not bore, chamber. The burr was at the back of chamber. I have not had any negative effects as of yet. I should have said for under a minute, not minutes. After waiting 9 months for the barrel to be changed and head spaced, I did not feel like taking it back.
Ahh.. I see... just be careful you don't tear up your rifle lands.
I haven't had any problems with bolt (yet), but on occasion I do use scotch brite on my Krink. Those nylon or those hard plastic brushes should work well too.
Nice groups by the way [Beer]
I used a swab that was tight in the chamber and put the steel wool about 3/4 inch back from the tip so the wool shouldn't have been close to the throat.
LMT MWS with Noveske 6.5 Creedmoor barrel and Nightforce 2.5-10 mildot.

Finally got the M2013 together, now just to coat the action but I'm shooting it first.
