we didn't get all that much snow in the springs, but the roads deceptively bad.
really slick, but with a nice layer on top. makes it easy to walk on and fools the unwashed into thinking they can just drive like normal.

This is crazy, I left Denver around 5am to go fishing. No snow at tarryall just wind then i leave around 430 from there, Get to 285 by Bailey and its a shit storm. Wish i could call in.
I'm torn between getting snow, or having the negative and low single digit temps here like we have had the last few weeks. We wouldn't have the same problems here in this tiny town compared to you guys on the eastern slope that have to travel to get to work. Here in the middle of the day, it gets to eight degrees or so. At least when it snows it is around 30 to 35.
It's 3 degrees right now here :)
I'm waiting for 6 to shovel [Coffee]
It's 1 degree now WTF?
Huh, well, that sucks for you guys then, snow, and sub-zero temps.
Well, it's a sweltering 9* here at the shop in Golden...gonna have to have a word with the plow guy. He didn't clear any of the parking spaces, just the driveway. I drove the same plow for the landlord several years back, so I know of what I speak....[Rant1][Mad][LOL]
I just had to run the snow blower to get a place to park....
It was 6 when I went out to shovel and it's 11 now and the thermometer is in the shade.
It is having to shovel and salt and crap like that makes me glad I am renting an appartment.
WFH here. Technology is a wonderful tool.
And thanks to my dad for the 24" snowblower. Awesome doesn't describe it enough.
For next time...
The symbol for degree (°) is ALT+248
Hold the ALT key and use the number pad w/ num loc on to do this....
(BTW _ different for laptops...)
As in... "It's like a freakin zillion °'s"
Special ALT Characters§
Yeah I know...but I'm a LazyAss™[LOL]
I see no "FN", just see F1-12.
Caveman need help.
What I love are the idiots who can't be bothered to clear the vehicles they parked outside. I have to park my truck outside, as it's too long to fit in my garage. But I clear almost all the snow off, and make sure all my glass is clear. I was taking my daughter to school this morning and this jackwagon in a Ford Explorer pull out of a side street with about a 1 square foot spot cleared off his windshield right in front of his face. He didn't clear any of the snow off the rest of his windshield, never mind his vehicle. He still had 6+ inches of snow on the rest of his windshield and his side windows were totally obscured along with his mirrors. He couldn't see where he was going, kept wandering all over two lanes and nearly got me when I got tired of his giant slalom course and passed him.
Look down in the lower left hand corner of your keyboard, Marlin. Should be a function key there. Mine is labeled fn, but on a PC I think they're either "func" or "function". √ and see....
I may have to "test ride" a customer's ATV outside.....[Muaha]
Now, if only it had a blade on the front...
On a laptop computer, there usually is no numeric keypad. So, instead, depress the Fn (function) key, then the Alt key, then the numerical code sequence. The numbers are on the fronts of certain keyboard keys: M=0, J=1, K=2, L=3, U=4, I=5, O=6, 7=7, 8=8, and 9=9.
