I was under the impression that the only thing wrong with Sigmas was that they had a crappy trigger, and that the Rugers were heavy and ugly. Everyone I know with a Ruger P Series says they are very reliable and built like tanks.

2nd on DeusExMachina's comment on the S&W M&P series. A Pro Series 9mm is one of my more recent acquisitions, and it is a superb example of a polymer-frame pistol. Maybe on a par with those produced in Valhalla by the Valkyries!!
Hey don't hate on Plastic!

single stack = Plastic trigger = Plastic!
I now hate you more than any other human being on earth. Except that fucking kiwi Cameron. Both you whores can go to hell. Or share your guns.... but probably go to hell.
Doc Medic has some great pistols there. I've often considered getting or building an STI. About the M&P mods, where did you get the parts?
Speed Shooter Specialties
Is the super store for anything M&P
Thanks Doc!!!!!!!!!![Beer]
I have owned several P series Rugers. They went bang every time I pulled the trigger and were pretty accurate. I had one with a couple thousand rounds down the barrel and it worked just as well as it did brand new. Needless to say id gladly buy another one if people weren't trying to charge more for them used then they were new a few years back.
My new obsession is the Springfield XDM9. When my AR build is done I will be adding one to my safe.
I think XDs are poopy. Except TDYRanger's full size 9mm Tactical model. That shot purty well last weekend.
Great thing about it though is if I do happen to run out of ammo for it, it makes a nice heavy blunt weapon.
Unlike some polys I would have no concerns using my KP944 as a breaching/escape tool for going through a door/wall.
and FYI I only use a single point sling
[ROFL1]
See what I mean... Fucking Valkyrie engineering rocks[Muaha] expensive but coooooooool

Did i mention HK sucks donkey crank?
Look at that monstrous abomination... Nothing like having 10rnds of .45 acp in a package the size and weight of a decent sub gun.
I bet the package pictured weighs more than my AR
HK: In a world of compromise, some people make their choices based on video games
I had a Sigma, then I got a job [ROFL1] But really I dont know which jammed more the Sigma or the XD9 I had! My Glock eats every piece of shit bullet I throw in it and asks for more. I have put over 800rds through it in the last few weeks and the only failures I have had was with my non-poly AR [Bang]
I would carry a hi-point for CCW before I would carry an XD [Pepsi]
And yes HK sucks ass with SIG following closely!
K. Been going off on a gun in the wrong thread so ill post it here too. The Judge is just stupid. Its name advocates defending yourself as judging, a 410 out of a pistol with a snobby barrel is the equivalent of peppering someone with birdshot short of shooting slugs, and shooting 45LC out of it negates any ballistic advantage the cartridge might have. In short, it sucks for everything but being overly large and pistol whippings.
They should have named it the "epic fail".
Did you see smith and Wesson stepped up to the plate with their own .410 abomination?
Now even guys who would "never own anything as bad as a Taurus' can fail just as monstrously.
I swear to god if some jack ass puts one of my eyes out with bird shot from his fucking judge on a ricochet, I am cutting him down with a tomahawk.
.410: When in doubt, put your friends, neighbors, and pets at risk too. Just not your precious walls.
When was it that firearms manufacturers started believing it was a good idea to advertise in a way that suggests aiming is optional? that's like car companies saying 'you don't REALLY have to be sober...'
My first semi auto handgun was a Ruger P85. Bought it used and shot the hell out of it. Ran like a top...a boat anchor like top but a top. Sold it to a friend with the provision that, if he sold it, I had first dibs on buying it back.
Beyond that, everything I own is the best because I spent all my money on them and the kewl kids said they were the best and they have kewl names and accessories and I like drinking kewl-aid and I have to justify my kewlness somehow and Ford is better than Chevy and .45 is better than 9mm and...

OK, I am trying really hard not to piss myself.
I received a PM.... yes, gentle whispers in my ear... a PM from an infrequently posting member defending Heckler and Koch.
I will not name the member, nor state their... brief... argument, but suffice it to say i really wish that in the spirit of this thread they would defend their USP publicly.
H&K: Like us, or we'll resort to cyber bullying ;)
Ok, I'm going to cave here... BUT CAN YOUR GLOCK GO 4K ROUNDS WITHOUT A JAM?!?
Seriously... no other information. Nothing indicating ammo type, conditions, or most importantly time frame.
I suppose we could give the benefit of the doubt, and assume the HK was purchased in Feb of '11.... ;)
Oh please please please please please come and play....
VAPOR WARE!!!!! The Craig Ltd M11 is as make believe as lipstick lesbians and pizza boys getting jumped by hot milfs! Repent i say!
And for all you N00bs i'm gonna SOOO epic Pwned! on xbox live later, the ultimate fighting pistol is the Nambu type 14. It cna go 4000 rounds with out a stove pipe!
...don't cut me...
I guess the thread title has owned a few.
Doesn't anyone use "white text"?? Come on, out the newb hater. .
:D
I'm your huckleberry...
What would we be comparing it with your over priced hk? I would say with out a doubt my g38 would do 4k without so much as a sneeze. Also it's bone stock. I have had a hk don't think they are a bad gun just think that it's overpriced for what you get.
What the hell does that mean.... really, storms coming. "you called down the thunder now feel the BOOM!" please. If you think you gun is not poop just tell us why. Here in the thread where the men are men and the n00bs get pwned.
H&K: the Dolce and Gabbana of fire arms.
You were right sir. I have put 4000 rounds through my H/K pistol without ever experiencing a problem. At the range at 25 feet my USP shoots 1-inch groups on the target. Have used Federal and Winchester ammo. Have owned other guns, but they didn't seeem to be as good of quality -not saying that they're bad--H/K has just been good to me over the years. Have seen a lot of people bad-mouthing H/K. Yes they're expensive, but you get what you pay for.
Where da hell is FireMoth??!! [Pop]
I agree you get what your pay for hince the fact I won't buy a bersa. I do agree HK is a good gun, I has a USP Tach .45. But for the price tag I feel my glock out performs everytime. Although I would have to say that the HK I had was a nail driver but for the size I wouldnt expect less. Ohh btw just to tease a lil, do you shoot both eyes open? [Tooth]
I bought a Glock today. You all suck.
