I've found the best way is to ask questions. I get a dumb look on my face (easy for me to do) and ask the holy grail of all questions "why?"
Oh almighty all knowing all powerful teacher ... why?
Of course you may have to bite your tongue when they reply but it's been worth it to me to hear other students then chime in.

Author talks about tort law, UK, Australia, tons of data and stats but is unable to reproduce the much touted numbers used by anti gun, talks about where there money for lobbyist comes from and also a good chapter on the UN.
