Looks like I'll bring a few friends this time.
George has a 357 and a couple 22 rifles.
Another friend of his hasn't shot before.

ok, it looks like i have to work tomorrow. i guess ill just have to try and get to the next shoot
I just got back from Sportsman's Warehouse and didn't walk out of there with a new gun.
I'm partially disappointed and partially proud of myself.
Oh well. I finally have a holster for the g21 and a duffel bag to haul the stuff in so I'm not always using plastic bags from SW or wallyworld.
Wheefun!

Change of Mode of transportation, I'll be in My truck for those of You Meeting Me at 84th and Grant. Silverado 2500, Vet Plates. I will be leaving there at 9:00 A.M.
See you there. I'm still trying to decide between the Porsche or the Mercedes. Ummm, OK wait, I think I'll slum and drive the Celica this time. [roll] Karl.
Oh, are we grilling? Do we need stuff? Will our favorite mascot be in attendance today? Will his mommy be escorting him (we miss her). [poke] See you in a few hours. Guess I'll stop and get a few things if I have time (maybe ... hmmmm, maybe some cheesy brat's  ). Karl.
Wasn't planning on it. Munchies maybe. No. No, shes still over at Her Mother's.

You are welcome.
I ended up with someones maroon Coleman fold up chair, who's is it?
I think it belongs to the guy up there with the handlebar mustache and the cunning hat.
But I may be wrong.

I had fun. Glad to meet some more of the club.
Thanks MPfiveengineer for making me want to go out and spend money to make my guns as quiet as yours.
Thanks to Karl for the UZI action.

Oh, just hang on to it. If worse comes to worse, I can send in Dozer for a ball chaseing contest. [wink]
As I said in GD, A damn fine shoot!
Thanks everyone.
I had a great time as always but eeerrr ummm had a little problem on the way home. I took 72 to 119 then down Golden Gate Canyon to avoid the traffic jam that always happens in Boulder.
Well the dumb Biotch in front of me slows down to ten miles an hour at every curve. I was getting a little upset and found a straight away I could pass legally and she speeds up it was a race I beat her but not the popo that saw me.
He lights me up and I knew I was screwed no way I was not getting a ticket. [balls]
He comes up to the window and asks what my hurry is so I tell him the truth I got pissed at the idiot in front of me. He paced her at almost 60 when I tried to pass so he knew she was being a biotch. I hand him all my info and CCW and tell him I have my gun on me and he hands it back and says I appreciate that.
He then tells me he is guessing I was doing 60 and the speed limit is 35. I am honest and tell him that when I seen him light me up I glanced at the speedo and I was doing just over 60. He also tells me his initial reason (before I tried to pass her) was to stop me for following to close.
Then the case in the back comes into question so I tell him I have a full auto M16 and a AR15 with a silencer. He asks where I got the suppressor and if they are unloaded I tell him where I got it and yes they are unloaded. He never flinched or asked for paper work.
At this point I am thinking damn how much is this going to cost me. He says since you were honest with me I am only going to give you a warning and you better slow down. I damn near passed out NEVER in my life have I seen an officer give a break for doing almost twice the speed limit. Once again on my part  [balls]
I let him know I have not had a ticket in almost twelve years and he says lets keep it that way. One hell of a nice LEO to give me that kind of break. I have his name and am going to write a letter about how professional he was to Gilpin County Sheriffs Department. Even if he would have wrote me a ticket I still would write the letter he was one hell of a nice guy.
It was my lucky day and once again  [balls]
Pictures are up at the club photo gallery.

Way to go Hunter! Always makes me feel about 10 feet tall when that happens. [karl] [roger] [hobbs]
Hey! I made it to a shoot and didn't even know it!
Good job 2C on the pics ! Where did you get those guys? Jacks of all trades and a pretty good camara man to boot! They seemed like they were having a good time. We had a blast, except for my wife she got pretty sunburned. I kept telling her to sit in the shade back in the trees but she didn't think she was getting burned. It was so nice up there it was easy to forget about the sunscreen. Take care of that knee! See ya later, Larry [devban]Quote:
