Is it the one We talked about at the last south shoot?
2C wins!!!
Oh now that's an ugly gun, who would ever want one of those things?
Ummmm, how much is the ammo, where do I get it, ummm, not that I'd ever need it of course. [roll] Karl.
Hey guys,
I really feel bad about Bob. I purchased one of his revolvers and felt bad that he was selling off his collection to pay his medical bills. Really a nice guy and a credit to our club.
I jumped on to see if you were going to have a shoot tomorrow (You know - 2nd Saturday of the month - well not this month - or that month....) Anyway, I have tomorrow free and was hoping to go on a shoot. Cannot make the 15th - have an off-road swap meet in Golden.
Maybe next month - the 2nd Saturday. right??
Shilly
Is it already and SBR Ryan, or is this it?Quote:

Any plans to dye the stock black?
Spec. Sports has ammo for 22.95 / 50 rds. Yeah, it's not a cheap gun to shoot which is why you won't see it alot.Quote:

It's just the regular PS-90, but it is one of the cool BLACK ones, no need to dye it.
Did you get one of the "free" ones from CDNN?
I looked inside the catalog for 'more info'. If you buy one of just about everything they have, they'll throw in a "free" PS90.
Are We going to need Scuba gear for this?
[roll]
I wonder if access is going to be a problem. I was just flipping through the channels and came across pictures of Douglas County on the weather channel. Apparently highway 67 along the river is washed out between Deckers and Westcreek.
Governor issues order for emergency assistance
The long way {for those of us on the north side} from WP is all asphalt, so that would not be a problem. My concern would be at the site itself. in other words accessibilty, I don't think that the forest gnomes would like it too much if We tore up the road to much.
The asphalt is washed out along a 4 mile stretch. They're now saying it may take at least a month to repair the damage.
Check out the video: http://www.9news.com/includes/builda...lite-may06.wmv
The south route from WP will probably be the only route.
Greg, once again, You live up to Your AKA.
Well that really sucks that takes me out I can't make it. It is only 60 miles from my house to the shoot spot and going to the springs then up through Woodland Park is over 100. I have way too much to do next weekend I can't spend all day Saturday on the shoot.
I have my 20 year high school reunion and have a new deck being put up. They hit almost every damn sprinkler line they could have drilling the caissons so I have to repair that.
I was just going to come for a short bit and head home but with the longer route there is no way I can do it.
Sorry guys will catch up with you all next time.
I'm hoping that Karl will be able to find out from his Forest Service contacts as to whether or not they have any issues with us in the area.
No problems here. I've spoke to forest service officials on numerous occasions about where we shoot and what we de. They have NO issues with our group. And being seen doing occasional cleanups has only helped. Speaking of which, are you guys up to it this time? This area is pretty clean as a rule, but it wouldn't hurt to spiff it up a little a few times a year. Also, are we gonna grill food, etc.? We better make food and beverage plans ASAP! (NO ALCOHOL>>>> NO EXCEPTIONS). Karl.
Just let us know about the clean-up and the food.
how muddy is it out there have you went out there this week karl
I've got 30 bottles of Pepsi, 6 Dew, 6 Livewire, 6 Brisk tea's and some Aquafina's set aside for Sat. Still have to pick up the Choke 2litr to shoot. I am getting worried about if my new gun will be here in time. I ordered it the 20th of june, and they charged my card on the 26th. I already have that card payed off and it's still not here yet.
I'll have a big box with me that we can put extra trash into.
I'll bring trash bags. The forest service allows us to dump the trash at their facility in WP.
Food. I can get two packs of brats and two of dogs as well as buns. Soda is covered it seems. Who can bring a pack of burgers? Chips? Condiments? Grill (WITH TONGS AND SPATULA! :P )? Karl.
Muddy? Don't be silly, it wont be muddy up here, we've hardly had any rain.
Ummm, I'll check friday mid-day and post here. Karl mudpuppy Mann.
Karl, I was referring to the FS in regard to specific conditions with all of the recent rainfall and not in a general sense. Wet soil creates more problems with compaction.
No, I haven't spoken to anyone recently or specifically about this recent rain. I may stop by friday if anyone is at the work center. Karl.
Thank you!
The weather guy said it could reach 102 deg. in town on Sat. Ya just might think about some sunscreen and some portable shade. We don't want to see fried Shooters and esp. Karl he was (Lobster Mann) at the last North Shoot. And so was my wifey and most everyone else.
Sun block 300 on order (that's special order [roll] ). Karl.
Hey, I just picked up a spring set from a dodge truck for $10 (yeah I probably could have talked him down but what the hell.)Quote:

There are 5 pieces I'm not going to use varying in length from 36 to 48 inches.
The stuff dulled my "the torch" sawzall blade instantly, so I'm using an angle grinder to cut it, I imagine a cutting torch would work nicely.
102 is normal down here in the desertQuote:

We shoot rain or shine right?
What time are we meeting up at both McD's?
I'll be there no matter what. But then again, it's like 2 minutes from my house. I got food stuff....
12 Johnsonville Cheesy Brat's.
12 Johnsonville Smoked Brat's.
12 Oscar Mayer all beef XXL franks.
34 buns (5 different types) (yeah I know 36 dogs and 34 buns I don't package the stuff :P ).
Ketchup, Honey Mustard, hot Mayo, Sweet Relish, and Honey BBQ sauce.
The rest is up to you guys. Marlin... grill? Tongs? [poke] Karl.
I'm still bringing the pop to drink and the pop to shoot for the video, but I'm leaving the big plastic mountain dew mdx bottle at home, until the next shoot when I will have my rifle. I am bringing superman to shoot though. We'll see if he is bullet proof. [roll]
