These guys are claiming they were hacked too. Same date-timeline claiming Osama died in 2001. Maybe somebody else can find more internet information that connects the dots...

There have been many, MANY more drone strikes in the last 6 months alone than what is listed in that wikipedia page.

I don't think they killed OBL during the raid. Not sure when he was killed/died but it wasn't then. Damn near every other high profile BG we have captured or killed has been paraded all over the news. And that include pictures taken after time of death. But no OBL pictures...

I also don't think we shot down the Chinook but I do think someone screwed the pooch big time on that. A chinook FULL of special forces? Going in for support? WTF were there so many SEALS on one helo going in for a support mission? A support mission. My SF buddies have told me they never went into a fight piled 30 high on one bird. Maybe they were transported to another base or location with that many on board but never into a fight. They ALWAYS took smaller birds with less men into battle. Someone desk jockey fucked up...there should never be that many SF in one easy target.

Just because you are the best does not mean that some punk cant get lucky or have good intell every once and a while. Shit happens when you get over confident. That is what happened here and anything else is nut job conspiracy theory.

Which is my point. I don't think any BG was tipped off about the Chinook or that some secret is to blame. No conspiracy. My point is, simply put, someone fucked up.
There should never been that many SF on one bird going into fire. As I mentioned, my buddy who I have known for the better part of 18 years, who has been SF active duty for 9 and who's Dad is also SF has told me that they NEVER went into a fight stacked 30 operators high on one bird. According to him it's not SOP and according to me it's stupid to put that many high priority targets for the BGs in one easy target. It's a damn shame.

I don't buy into most of her article on this particular subject, but all in all Ann is one who is most definitely on our side. I applaud her other efforts and for always voicing such a strong opinion AND standing by it. Cheers Ann if you're reading this, which I know you are now. [Beer]

I find that I agree with her more than I disagree with her ... when I do disagree its usually more a matter of degrees than outright (for example on this I don't think we're getting the truth, but I think her conclusions are probably just as wrong as the "official" story). Only other area I disagree with her is her whole Catholic supremacy thing.
