Bring em both. It's a fun stage and if you want to hand a mag to someone to load while you are emptying the other, that is cool with me too.

I've got a dumb new-at-multigun question.
In handgun competitions, when you're not actually shooting, the gun chills out in your holster. If you have one or more long gun in addition, how does that work out? Bagged or slung muzzle-up?
Thanks for an awesome match, everyone!
That was a great time at CRC! When do you think the results will be ready?
I had a GREAT time!!! Thanks to all whom took time to "tutor" me for my first match. It was a lot of fun!
I met my goals; 1) Don't shoot myself, 2) Don't shoot anyone else, 3) Have fun!
I accomplished all three.
I did learn a lot about equipment...
I've got a lot of practice to do between now and the next "club" match!
I'll post the results up here by tomorrow afternoon. Thanks to everyone for coming on out!
Thanks to everyone that came out and shot in the great weather. We had 5 or 6 1st time 3 gunners and 4 or 5 that came out to watch.

Mark,
Thanks for posting the results quickly. Do you make the raw data available so that we can see how we did on individual stages and where the time came from (speed vs accuracy)?
Thanks,
Scott

We have one match left this year, October 6. Open to suggestions...2Gun, 3Gun, 2Gun with side-match, skill builders, all carbine...
We should have both a 100 and 200 yard berm available by that time.
There's no August or September match?
No, August is just a week before RM3G. I might be out there doing some practice...
September, the ranges are being used for the Zoot Championship.
If there are at least 10 "new" 3 gunners that want to take a class, I might be inclined to run a course on Friday (October 5) and do 5 stages on Saturday (October 6).
I vote for 2-gun with an optional side match stage. Precision rifle, perhaps.
Put up a Poll, so vote for what you want.
What would a "Precision Side-Match" be? or comprised of?
If your going to make a Precision side match, stretch those targets to at least 800 yards.
What about an optional revolver stage?
I'm pretty sure revolvers are legal in tactical division.
So right now, it is looking like a normal 3 Gun match.
October 6th MG. 4 stages with all three guns. If the 100 yards berm is complete, we will be shooting rifle out at 100 yards. In Open class only, you can chose to forgoe the shotgun and shoot ALL SG targets with your pistol.
Is the 100 yd been going in on the left or the right?
What will the approximate round count be and what time does the match start?
MadDog [Beer]
Set up at 7:30, hope to be shooting by 9:30.
Bringing 80 rounds per gun will get you through. 10 rounds of buck, 10 slugs and 60 birdshot for shotgun ammo.
Last match of 2012 is October 6. Plan on 60 rounds for each gun. 10 buckshot and 10 slugs.
We will shoot to 100 and or 200 yards if the berms are completed.
4 stages with all three guns. $20 match fee.
Set-up at 7:30, hope to shoot by 9:30.
Whats the 10 buckshot rounds for?
Oh yeah, I forgot. IF you are in open, all steel is optional pistol or shotgun and the slug targets can be shot with pistol. So you could technically shoot in Open with a pistol and a carbine only.
Typically how far out are the slug targets set? Also what's the most ammount of targets for a shotgun stage?
