Don't forget Steel Targets ;)

I've done a few transfers with these guys, as well as traded a firearm with them. Good to go in my opinion. The staff doesn't seem to be "inconenienced" by doing private party transfers, they are nice to BS with, and gave me a very fair price for my trade. I'll be back when I'm in the area.
Liberty is now the go to for NOCO peeps IMO. Great to deal with and pricing on most things is great as well.
Keep meaning to try and find time up there now that it sounds much different than opening week.
Transferred a rifle from another member here yesterday. Wow , what a great store. Great guys that were nice and helpful. Heading back up next weekend and will plan on stopping any time I'm in the area.
Way back near start of thread, I was pretty unhappy with this place. Finally got a chance to stop in today, and was very impressed. They already need to expand I'd say. Packed with items. Actually had primers in stock (Dont know what good prices are though.) Ammo seemed from what I checked good to decent though 5.56 was kinda way high except for some american eagle for like 38cent/rnd.
I plan to come back from targets, and if the other store I want to go thru can't get it, might use them for my Ruger PR. They also occasionally have and can get my my Canik TP9SA I wanted to try out for gifts for newer shooters on a budget.
Not a review, but just an observation. I went in there today, the first time in about 3 months or so. Very different. I don't know if there were new owners, or what, but didn't see anyone that I recognized. The one person I saw helping someone was a bit on the "bitchy" side, kind of reminding me of some of the early Bob Jensen days. He was yelling across the store for someone, who was with a customer, to answer the phone. An elderly gent came in with a pistol case and the same person stopped helping the customer he was with and talked to the elderly gent and asked him if the had guns in the case. The man replied yes and the person behind the counter said "I have to see them to make sure they are unloaded because I don't want loaded guns in my store", or something to that effect. Again, there didn't seem to be the usual quality of help in the store at this time. I read something in our local newspaper that said that Liberty Arms is no longer involved with the new place out on I-25 and HWY 392, so don't know if that has anything to do with it. Again, just an observation.
I'd love to know more. After hating them, seemed like they had turned it around and was going to go thru them for some stuff this summer. But that might have tochange.
https://www.libertyrange.com/
I found the website the other day. I am excited about a new range/gun store closer to Greeley. Haven't set foot in Liberty in about a year but the last time I was there, the SiCo Omega or Saker (can't remember what I was looking at the time) jumped $300 in price in two weeks. I was ready to purchase that day and I had gone in two weeks prior to check it out. I asked them why the price jump and was told "we know what we have and it will sell at that price." I asked them if it was the same one that was there two weeks ago and they said yes. I have purchased a handful of firearms but I did notice a lot of new faces. I've always been treated fair otherwise.
Trial membership $100 wtf. And it's not even built yet. They hoping for thousands of pre memberships to help finish the thing?
That's the way to build an indoor range. Sell memberships. Run the membership services like a health Club. You use the place or not, still pay for it.
Visualize ammo and suppressor group buys.
True, True. Hell some ever sold guns and items that were never built. Go figure.
It was not the idea of a trial membership, just that it was so pricey for a "trial".
I browsed the website and found a P30SK at very competitive price. So, I drove all the way to Ft. Collins to purchase the firearm there.
My review:
-Great people. Great employees. Great Service. When my wife was getting helped, other 2 employees asked me I needed an assistance.
-Competitive price. I told the employees that I am just looking at firearm with sale tag (red tag). Quick browse twice.
-Good Selections.
5 stars! A++
Service at gun stores are so different relative to 25 years ago. [LOL]
I have done 95% of my business in the last 3+ years with liberty. The last few trips in to liberty it has changed and the attitudes of the employees has changed for the worse. It does remind me of how jensens was ran when Bob owned it. I might have to start driving back to loveland to Jensens, I hope not because liberty has better prices.
My son went in there a couple of weeks ago looking for a very specific pistol. The kid helping him tried to talk him into several other different models because he did not have the Gen4 in stock. Was very patronizing telling my son he would be better off with whatever he was trying to sell him. He has actually shot the one he was trying to buy, and knew that's what he wanted, and, I realize he doesn't have a lot of patience for situations like this, but he said he felt like he was talking to a used car salesman that doesn't have the model you're looking for. He won't go back. It's been a couple of years since I've been in there, and was always treated well, but grey hair and knowledge will usually get that reaction.
Almost all of the "good" sales people from USA Liberty (and some management) are now working at the store at the Liberty Firearms Institute range. They're prices are very competitive and they seem to have a large selection of guns. I've purchased a couple guns from them and they treated me very well. They've 'earned' my business. LFI is my go to LGS now.
^^^ agree with Big John. USALA used to be my go to, but everyone I liked left with the whole shooting range divorce fall-out and it's just never been the same. Doesn't help that I could never stand the cocky little skinny prick David that owned USALA before he got kicked out, but a deal is a deal. Don't like the price on something? Ask to price match. I've had them call USALA to check pricing and if it's in stock and in state, guess what, price matched.
David always treated me right and no BS. With that said I know what I want and don't go in and BS and waste peoples time. I put in 5 years behind a gun shop counter. Most people wanna come in and tell you about there shtf fantasy or there time in the sand box or nam or there secret seal sniper mission's. Then you hand them an AR and they dont have a clue how to work it.
Recently moved back to the Fort, these guys have been great with good stock on hand (except ammo) would highly recommend.
I used both USA Liberty Arms and Liberty Firearms Institute for transfers and I have purchased from both of them over the years. However, the last time I used LFI they had raised the total transfer price to $50. Screw that! They are also more expensive on their products than other stores. They do have a professional staff and some have been there for many years.
USA does have a high employee turnover and some of the younger ones just can’t shut up. One of the idiots nearly queered a deal I had worked out. Generally I have found USA to be less expensive than LFI on most items.
My $0.02
That $50 is close to new norm unless you have a buddy with an FFL.
I recently did some searching and cheapest i found was $40 with most others between $40-50.
I?ve passed on more than one seemingly deal here because once you add $50 to the price it?s not much of a deal.
THANK YOU state of Colorado.
The last few time I have stopped in the young new employees pissed me off so much with there shitty arrogant attitudes I won't be stopping in much unless I absolutely need something now. They have raised there prices on most stuff to a no go for me. Really sucks I liked there store a lot and have spent tons of money there over the years.
You introduced me to this place several years ago. It was a cool store with a cool vibe and some decent inventory and prices. I was up there recently and everything I just said doesn?t apply anymore. It?s a shame for you guys up north that what once was a pretty decent store now seems to have gone downhill.
