ebay item # 280960958069
I'm still enamored by the thought of a Cummins 4BT 4X4!
I bought an '84 CUCV Blazer. I love it. It's a little slow getting over the mountains but once you start wheeling it is surely a mountain goat.
damn, what does it take to get someone to answer you on craigslist, damn guy still hasn't replied...
Thats why I hate it when they don't put a phone number and they suck at using email. I'm dealing with the same thing on another item also just put your danm phone number down if you want to sell your shit retard
sent another email...i wish some of those craigslist turds would be some what responsive when they want to sell their shit.
well, went to ebay and this is about all i found...

this is worse then trying to find an all original gto for 2k...
just sold my duramax...time to get the cummins...
check the wtb section!
just picked up a 97 12v cummins...wife is pissed off from all holy hell because it's a stick...blah blah blah, wtf she never drove the couch when I had it any how.
Congrats. Got to show us pic's. My wife can drive mine but being 4'11" does not like to. [Flower]
I don't know why she is complaining. Unless it has a big trailer and on a hill you can't stall it in first gear. Any way you let go of the clutch it is going forward even at idle. [Beer]
I like it. [Beer]
Nice truck, congratulations. I've been educating myself about those trucks.
There are some things about the 12V Dodge that one needs to be aware of Like the 5th gear nut and the dowel pin and the return hoses but all in all with a little TLC they are damn near bullet proof.
Other than one alt and a repair on hoses mine has been trouble free for over 10 years. [Coffee]
Ok, wtf is this big red button, been scared to muck with it? Brakes? Fuel pump? Zombie EMP? Twin 50cal bmg depolyment?

Push it and find out. Looks like some sort of throttle adjust for a PTO.
i push it and nothing happens. I can't trace it out of the firewall because it's in a weird place and i dont think i'm tracing the right cable. Then, when i was down there I looked at the damn fuel filter, and some moron busted off the drain valve. Guess I should of checked that before I bought it.
obtw, wife won't help out..."i'm to tired from working, so ill sit on my a$$ and watch the broncos pregame..." her quote
Looks like an exhaust brake button.
well, good news...i finally drained the fuel filter of the water, but I still have the water in fuel light on when the HT starts up. I had hoped...but time to swap the filter! I just don't trust that damn plastic drain valve...
how would i test the "exhaust red brake button of death"? Any ideas?
Just get up 30-40 and back out of the throttle. Then push the button and it should be very clear the change. . Mine is on/off with a switch and vacuum operated.
When on it engages anytime you back off the throttle but I have seen manual ones. They are very useful on the Dodge. [Flower]
had tmleadr03 come over and look at the dang thing. Damn, did i buy a fixer upper.
So far, repairs are gonna run around 3500 just to make it nice to drive. Sigh, wife is not happy about this one.
tmleadr03, use him and abuse him!!! Great guy to work with. I still like honky tonk, and the kids love it more. Dog likes her seat so time to get this thing fixed!!!
Drive shaft
oil pan/gasket leak
front end replacement
All the things that could go wrong with this truck...well i got it!!! flmao
That is sad. I had work done on my front end after I bought it. I still remember the guy telling me the change in price on the drag link. [Bang]
I do have one new issue that will be hard to track down but I may just shotgun it and be done. Had the leak on the return hose that I fixed but now I have the "not holding fuel after 2 days" issue. I think the best way is just to replace the lines and be done with it.
All in all the $$$ I have spent in repairs is minor compared to the time I have had it. It was my daily driver for 6 years and that was not good on it since it is only 4 miles to work. [Flower]
well, the goal for this is the bov/emp/zombie cruncher, gotta get it there first...Any other bits that you guys have, are appreciated...The ol red shit button, tmleadr03 thinks is for the brakes...I have to agree.
