I'm going to be hanging cabinets, installing a wash basin, running some more electrical and hanging the natural gas heater on the floor on the left side of the bench in that photo. Up next is the theater in my basement. It's unfinished but I kind of like it that way because it stays nice and cool, winter or summer. It's been a work in progress for some time now and I affectionately refer to it as Ghetto Theater and then it has a version number that goes up as I make upgrades. Recently I upgraded all the audio which was a major release change putting it at v2.0. Right now I think we're at 'Ghetto Theater v2.1' or something like that. I've got a 100" screen (I've had a 136" ready to install for years but can't bring myself to take down a perfectly good 100" screen) and a HD projector. The audio is an Onkyo receiver running a 7.2ch setup with two 15" subs. I also built a 'stadium style' seating platform for the back row using an old waterbed platform that I covered and reinforced. When I finish that room it will actually have three rows but 'just' two for now which is plenty. I watch football, movies and play Call of Duty almost exclusively in this 'cave' and it's perfect! Who needs drywall, paint and carpet? [LOL]

Lastly is the future man cave... a vault/work bench. In a section of our basement under where we had a bump-out built there is about a 15x20 area that has three cement walls. The plan is to pour a 4th wall with a vault door or similar and then build gun racks and another work bench. This will be my reload/gunsmith/storage area for firearm related things. This is later down the road after these other caves are finished since I have a safe now and an area to do that sort of work already so I can't justify turning attention there just yet. It would be nice to have a designated area for all that jazz however and would just be cool. Someday.

If only I had endless money these areas would already be done and perfect just the way I want them. Damn having to do the work myself when time/money permits. [Bang] [Rant1] [M2]

I know I'm losing miserably to the guy with every gun ever made but in a weak attempt to compete I went ahead and added a networked PC that I built from parts as well as a few other updates. More to come...

This is the closest thing I have to a man cave. It's not much, but it's mine. It's a horrible mess right now, especially the top of my tool box. At least I have a picture of a girl up near the tool box.

The only items in the house with a political statement say "George Clinton for President" and "WALLACE". Oh, and a Noriega for President button I picked up during Operation Just Cause.

This is our home theater/bar/cigar smoking lounge. There's God's own exhaust fan plumbed up in the attic above the table. The built-in humidore is humidity controlled. I built all the speakers for the HT (not to mention everything else in the room except the chairs), and it sounds pretty dang good.

While referred to as "man land" around here, ladies are welcome as long as they smoke or at least tolerate it without whining. It's always good to have some trim around.

We have happy hour every Friday night. Just let me know you're coming. Some nights it's just me and my wife (who is a more dedicated smoker than I), and some nights there are 15 of us.
