Ok so who has the fishing reports? Where are the fish biting?
Are there any lakes closer than tarryall for ice fishing. Im taking my cousin for his first time in the morning.
Don't know the answers to your recent questions, just saw this thread, not sure how I missed it before.
I've never been ice fishing. Heard good things though. Will have to try it out sometime soon. Good luck finding some bites.

I fished the south ponds a week ago. 4" then and after the last few days, I'm sure 6" at least. North boat ramp is the best bet. I've seen some pretty good fish taken.
11 mile and Antero.
-29 last Sat at 11 mile. Caught a couple 3#'s. Lost a couple big ones.
Going again maybe Thursday as it may be a bit warmer.
But after we get the hut up the heater on who cares.
Im planning a trip thursday aswell. I have never fished 11 mile.

They been a fish'n at tarryall, Stockers of course, Antero has safe ice near SE shore, 16" 18" reported caught, 11 mile is covered, 6" in some of the coves, talked with Larry and he said peeps have been having fair to good luck.
Antero had a good 6 inches in most areas on Black Friday. Iced 13. Wasnt on fire by any means but was good to get on the hard deck. Talked with guys that said Tarryall had 8 inches on it last weekend. On the way home from Antero I drove past 11 mile and it looked capped but still a little thin for this guy. I don't like thin Ice but if this cold snap happens it won't be an issue.
Side not Mtn Man, I saw in another thread you weld, you're not involved with Mountain Man Welding that is doing work on SDS are you?

Had a good day at chat field for perch once. I have spent a few days chasing walleye there on the sand pits, but no luck.
