The Bell 222 was made in Texas, IIRC
BT was a tarted up French copter

AIRWOLF ALL THE WAY!
It can shot down Migs that that flies Mach3 (~1029m/s) with a single rocket fire. :D
Currently Lockeed Martin, General Dynamics, Boeing can't catch up 25year old outdated technology.
If it is 100 F-35 and 10 F117s VS Airwolf, I would still bet on Airwolf.
What? Airwolf was a Bell 222, Bell is an american company. The Blue thunder was built by the french company Aérospatiale.
Someone is confused
Let's not forget that the french helicopter (a flying machine) managed to get run over by a train. After being seriously disabled in a firefight, after the pilot was shot while in the cockpit...something that NEVER happened in Airwolf. The lady protected her men...
As an aside, when I was a young and broke squid, my roommate had a 1964 Beetle. He was also young and broke, and the Beetle's ignition switch was just broke. So we did the only logical thing that made sense: Put in a momentary and a non-momentary shielded toggle switch, and used a label gun to label them 'Start 1' and 'Start 2'. I will also admit to the fact that we frequently hummed the theme song to Airwolf when we fired it up.
Also ..... I bet everyone here knows and can hum the Airwolf theme ............
Anyone know the Blue Blunder theme ??
yeah I didn't think so
You know how I know you guys are gay? You're trying to seriously discuss "Airwolf".
Who has a more bad ass "patch" ?

Or the one we all know and love ............

The Airwolf is gay.
JAFO!
That "airwolf" looks retarded.
Airwolf is to helicopters as AirSoft is to AR15s.
I've flown a Bell 430. It was effin fancy.

Me on the right...

Who's the hotty in back? I want to do her.
Did Airwolf ever have a hotgirl in the back?
BT all the way. Airwolf was and is still gay.
I flew on a gazelle HOT/M621 once: fastest helo of it's time. If I remember correctly, the gazelle was chosen for the movie because of the Fenestron tail rotor system: Really advanced for it's time.
You know how I know you're gay? You said "Fenestron".
I'm just laughing here at how hard stevel is working to convince everyone to like a crap-ass French POS tarted up to look bad versus a US copter that could really fly. It sort of reminds me of guys who buy a 4 cylinder POS car because it looks cool or the antis who get all wobbly in the knees because a rifle has a bayonet lug, pistol grip and collapsible stock rather than worry about calibre, rate of fire or how well the guy toting it can shoot.
Seriously discussing Airwolf?
Bell 430..the evolution of the 222 is probably the smoothest bird I've ever ridden in. And still looks like airwolf.
This pretty much settles it ...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBvqbggQiOY&feature=fvst Well themed...
vs.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmBIk5RA0EQ Poindexter on the synthesizer ...but it did have Dick Butkus and Bubba Smith
common man, you know AW sucked, and was just a bite off of BT. Besides we arent talking about the choppers they were derived from. Otherwise please tell me where AW stored all that impressive weaponry? BT was at least somewhat attainable tech for the time, AW? still silly fantasy. And to compare Jan to Roy? that's like comparing Justin Bieber to Uncle Ted.
I had to vote AirWolf because I still catch myself whistling the theme song from time to time when I'm doing yard work.
Yeah, I might have some issues.
Wasnt AW out before BT?
I mean BT was OK for a watered down police copter, but Airwolf is the future...
Firebirds! Best helo movie ever!

Air Wolf. I still have a AW patch on my poncho liner.
