Wow. I ordered from them as well on Jan 28. Still nothing. Fuck those guys.
I didn't read about their crappy service or their "in stock" status until after I ordered. I'll never order from there again.
Carl.... We don't think you're an asshole!
Holy shit that's a business? Good lord who runs that' place.
That's terrible, you can take RGuns off my list for sure...
That dude just doesn't give a damn.
It's funny how different an experience you can have with two companies. Order an in stock part from R-Guns and it never ships then order an out of stock part from Windham and it ships in two weeks.
Wow! That is some horrible customer service, I hope they go under and quick.
WOW!
i am having similar issue with allied armory... 5 months out
Wow!
That is waaaaaaayyyy too long and the first thing they said should have been an apology to you!
And then on some random other website....Quote:
>yeah we are flooded with orders a e mails from dumb asses that cant read. we will post on line about you as well.
Oh please don't bash me on the internet, mr internet sales company.Quote:

Compare that to Brownells srvice. I ordered a shotgun shoulder stock last weekend, they lost the order after 4 days of no ship confirmation I called them, they found my order didn't know why it didn't ship and for my trouble they removed the shipping charge completely which was about $13 and with a lot of apologies also. Quite the contrast I think. RGuns never!
Googled Rguns. I doubt they have many places to go and rant. Seems that quite a few forums have a "don't do business with Rguns" thread.

I'm sure you've seen my thread about this shitbag company.
They can smoke a turd in hell before they'll ever get another cent from me. I've made it my mission to tell everyone I can about this company and warn them all to avoid them like the plague.
Lately, I've been limiting my business to fellow members Bowers Tactical when I'm in Denver and LiveFire Armory (http://www.livefirearmory.com/) here in the Springs. I stopped by to see Kevin @ LiveFire yesterday to pick up some stuff. As he told me (and I saw for myself), he's got basically everything you could want or need IN STOCK. If you don't live in the Springs area and need your order shipped, he ships out the same day & has free shipping through the end of June. If you order from his site and use code "fiveoff", you'll get a discount. He really does take care of COAR members. If you place an order with him, be sure to put in the shipping comments that you're a CO-AR15 member and that Thomas referred you. I don't get any sort of kick-backs, but it could actually help to save you a few more bucks!
I definitely learned my lesson from RGuns & will only be dealing with people I can see in person if need be.
Yup same here, I ended up getting my stuff but one and done is my motto with rguns. Hope he made enough during this craziness to retire on because that company has no business doing anything other than going belly up.
I decided to stay away from R-Guns after seeing a half dozen of their owners with canted magazine release holes. Not a huge deal but I took it as evidence of a crap company.
the twats called their attorney on the last guy that made a fuss about their crap products and terrible customer service, but at least it sounds like he got a new lower.

I would say I don't believe you but I saw the correspondence between a buddy of mine and these assholes and believe it or not it was actually substantially worse than yours. The fact that they remain in business is a testament to how many people out there buy w/o researching because there is TONS of stories like this out on the web these days. These idiots need to be dealt with.
I happened to check my bank account this morning and noticed it was light by several hundred dollars and I got worried. I found a charge from RGuns for items I ordered from them IN JANUARY. I am sooo pissed right now!
I ordered a BCG from RGuns back in December due to the fact it was "In Stock" after some research and many angry, upset posts from people I called RGuns and told them I will be there tomorrow I will pick up my order there. The owner told me I was unable to pick up my order (ordered same day) and it would be sent to me. I then asked him to cancel my order and do not charge me a "restocking fee". Zoom all the way in on A to see the storefront.

Hey, at least you can buy coins and watches with them as well! Asshats!
So outside of their hideous customer service and shipping, what about the product itself?
I ask because I picked up a Rguns complete upper locally and wondered what the consensus is.
Products might be fine but I personally wouldn't own them. Just like a few other names I wouldn't own even if I bough them from the used market. I just won't represent the name of a shady company when there are so many good ones out there to support. I would be ashamed if someone asked me what upper was on my AR15 and I had to answer RGuns. That's just me though.
I can understand we all have our preferences, I was just hoping for a thoughtful critique of a product I don't know much about. I am happy I purchased it new, the gas key and A2 sight post are properly staked and the BCG seems to be proper mil-spec, at a very fair price. But until I put rounds through it and know more it always nice to hear someone say, "Yeah, they're good once you get them delivered." And it's nice to get it from a 'local' group that is in tune with the AR platform. Maybe I'll take more time and be more willing to part with my hard earned dollars for my next rifle, I do like to start small and see what I really want or need before shelling out Daniel Defense type money.
RGuns historically has been hit or miss. They have had some serious quality control issues in the mating of their upper and lowers, the coating being too thick, holes being slightly too small, or misaligned. They have worked on their quality control some, but I can spend an extra $15 somewhere else and get a product with a better track record I will.
That said I have 2 stripped Rock River lowers that I've used in builds which I am very happy with and a few years back they had some QA issues as well, though they have been rockstars since then.
Just to add to the insanity, I ordered a couple of the BCG's that were "in stock" three months ago. Well being a "Noob" and owning four off the shelf Colts, these were my first builds. Had gotten a pair of lowers with the intention of building a rig with my son for his thirteenth birthday. Well, thought $115 for a complete BCG was a good deal so I placed the order March 26th knowing they were gonna take a little while with their "backlog" So I emailed after seven weeks to check on the status and got a very curt reply of "10 days" so I figured all is well. After three weeks go by and no BCG's in the mail I email them this afternoon inquiring as to when I might "really" expect them and this is what I received as a response...
