It's pretty easy to understand. Gun owner's have been under attack by the left since I've been alive. A "call for civility" is liberal code for "be nice when you talk to us but we're going to say the nastiest, ugliest things we can about you even if we have to make it up".Quote:

This guy posts up about how he's a gun owner (to give legitimacy to his argument) and then proceeds to call for more gun controls and civility. An attack is an attack, some are just disguised by nice sounding words. Like "reasonable", "can't we can all agree", "common sense", etc. He's not fooling anyone. Especially most people on this site.
I'll suggest (and that's all it is, a suggestion) that if you tend to see things the way "Jesse" does, this may not be the place for you politically.
