Seems like most here were the same as me. Legos all the way, micro machines (used to take them to the beach and have epic fortresses defended by our brave tanks and attack helicopters), matchbox cars, GI Joes, and we had those late 80's/early 90's toy guns that looked real and made machine gun noises... We even used to dress up in fatigues and go out late at night on "missions" with fake guns. Now a days I believe people freak the hell out if they were to see us. Of course, we never got caught. I had an awesome childhood.
I had the fake guns that made cool noises and orchestrated many a night time mission myself. Good times!

The GI Joes, my 1/24 scale slot cars, the skateboards. I was also big on listening to SW radio. Bought an old tube set in 66 or so and use to listen for hours. Of course by the time I was twelve growing up in Racing my dad said "Fine, you want to go race then go race" after bugging him since I was seven about wanting a Kart.
