Watched this again, after getting the "directors cut" the other day. There were a few more disturbing scenes that weren't in the original release. I f-ing love this movie. I know it's totally evil....[Twist]

popping in The Hunt for Red October right now...
A few days ago I saw a preview for TRANSFORMERS THE RISE OF GALVATRON. I dont know if its legit or not has anyone else heard about this? [AR15]
i watched this yesterday. its not worth buying i dont think, but a good zombie movie.
it didn't waste half the movie creating a scenario where zombies are created then spread. the movie just starts in a world with zombies. i enjoyed that for once, but the problem with a story in africa is there is no places for action other than desert/plains.
[Beer] rent it
There is talk of a 4th, but they want to be very careful not to do the "Spiderman thing"- meaning no more reboots, more like an evolution or expansion but LeBouf will not be back. I'd personally like to see Unicron in a sequel. If anyone remembers back in the day they made a movie out of the cartoon and the villain was a planet sized transformer that ate other planets... That would probably leave them no where to go after that though.
they should make a transformers:beast wars series. that was always my favorite
I just dont think there is enough to put together a good plot. It was ok ok as a cartoon, but I dont think that a 40k lb robot pretending to be a gorilla would work too well.

Well played sir[Beer] well played
Watched The Darkest Hour last night. Kinda sucked...
I watched Drive last night. The entire thing felt forced but it wasn't terrible.
I just watched Prometheus and it is good. Now if you have never watch Alien you may be at a loss for some reference, but it is overall a well rounded movie.
Just watched "Safe House" last night, with Denzel and Ryan Reynolds. Pretty good movie, not at all what I was expecting, but I've yet to see a Denzel movie I didn't like... Although my favorite of his is The Siege.
But yeah, see Safe House, you won't regret it.
Saw a few over the weekend:
I agree with Ronin (for once) Safe House was pretty entertaining, reminiscent of a Bourne movie.
Machine-Gun Preacher was better than I expected. I didn't realize before I started it that it's a true story.
This Means War was a little cheesy at times, but very entertaining. I think they were trying to make something with elements of a good action movie and a chick flick - they did a pretty good job of it.
Chronicle sucked donkey balls. Imagine combining the premise of Heroes with the cinematography of Cloverfield, and then letting a teenager write and direct it. [Barf]
Watched Finding Forrester again.
Its a great movie for everyone... but for anyone taking classes right now, go watch it and live vicariously through the main character absolutely OWNING the douchey teacher... classic.
Just saw Poppers Penguins with Jim Carey.
I feel bad for Carey. He used to star in awesome blockbusters like Ace Ventura, Pet Detective. Now he is appearing in dumb movies about animals.
Went to see this tonight. Soooo good! Loved it!
saw half of the grey last night (second half wouldn't play, thanks netflix) it was pretty dull. i wasn't too sad i had to cut it short.
i also saw snow white and the huntsman this weekend. it was pretty good. definitely not a disney princess movie
I watched Wonder Boy on Netflix a couple of nights ago. It wasn't half bad.
Watched She's Out of my League for the first time the other day.
Holy smokes, Alice Eve is a forest fire...

Not sure if they've been mentioned but these two are pretty good:
Dust to Glory (phenomenal aerial footage of the motorcycle class in the Baja 1000). This movie was done by Dana Brown, son of Bruce Brown who did The Endless Summer. Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_B6N-jXoFvM
Worlds Fastest Indian (land speed record at Bonneville), Anthony Hopkins is the main star.

The thing that is rather amazing about both these movies is that they are entertaining even to those who have never had much interest in the sport.
Went to see Prometheus last night. Two thumbs up. Check it out if you're into Sci-Fi. Charlize Theron looking pretty sweet doing pushups.
So I watched "God Bless America" last night, wow, what an awesome movie. If you haven't seen it, go do so ASAP! I couldn't stop laughing, even after I turned it off.. and that Roxy girl is a little cutie! No worries fellas, she's 19! [Beer]
Yeah it was a pretty spectacular movie. I didn't realize until the end it was directed by Bobcat Goldthwait... crazy.
Also, last night went and saw Prometheus, really a great movie, well done by the Alien director Ridley Scott, it's a prequel of sorts but great standalone flick too. Lots of tie ins to the Alien series with Wayland Corp and other stuff I won't say. Definitely worth the price of admission. [Beer]
