So I tell my wife I want her to carry a OTF because she likes knives anyway and it's somthing she can just keep in her hand when her she's walking or whatever. She is at work and sends a link to a Damascus bladed OTF that's $715......leave it to my wife. Won't happen but it's pretty I guess

Not near as much but..............I'm buying a few NIB kershaws from a neighborhood guy. Handing on of the spring assist knives i tell the wife. Check this knife out and see how smooth the action is. Click.... You're right that's a smooth blade as she walks off, kershaw now in her pocket.
It's been her daily carry since then. .
Lol sounds about right, I'll do a Kershaw for her but yea not even going to come close to that Damascus otf [ROFL1]
Brutal I guess I was expecting stain consistency not like a old school shalacking. Did another sand and laid another thick coat so now I'm just about there. Now I get to find decent metal legs that won't cost a arm and a.......[Coffee]
Nice.
I've been thinking when I get down to AZ....I'm gonna get a dog. Been thinking a lot about spending some dough and getting one trained for defense. Research in and all, I know what I don't want, and boiled it down to German Shepard or Belgian Malinois. Think I'm gonna go Belgian Malinois.
I originally wanted an Aussie Shepard, but from what I've researched, the Belgian is really more of what I'm looking for when push comes to shove.
Hot tub ordered....need to get the 220v run soon
Hell..if you use a few times a week at the least....it's probably worth it. Happy hot tubbing.
I just realized that I had some verbal retard going on in #409.
I meant that I was looking at Aussies just for having a dog, but then started looking at defense dogs and leaned Belgian....if anyone cares about how messed up that post was for what I actually said.

11:22 whore post.
Yo Brutal...how's things?
Why? You're able to acquire an AZ ccw permit if you feel the need. But not necessary as you can carry w/out a permit in Az. I'd adopt a rescue dog, take a few classes with it and call it good.
I'm in the minority when it comes to training dogs where you give it to someone else to do so. Once you do so, that's 1 more person who has control over your dog, besides you.
Unless you believe there's a real or potential threat that requires a guard dog, pass.
That is a great point, and with merit.
Yes, I can shoot you when I'm in peril.....IMO it is also another versatile deterrent to have an intelligent dog who can defend home and property, but also chew your ass at my command if something else goes awry, or I get injured...the dog can still neutralize the threat. Two against one is always a better ratio.
I also realize the cost of the animal first, then the training, and then everything else after that for 10 to 12 years. I am a dog guy, but in my previous situation couldn't have one....could have here at this house, but didn't. If I'm going to invest the time and money in the animal in the first place, I'm going to load it up and get an animal that is not only companion, but utility as well.
Yeah I can do basic obedience training myself, I can also have a professional do it and get the benefit from the outcome that I could not provide myself.
It might turn out years down the road that perhaps it was investment that wasn't necessary, but even in that case I still have a buddy that is always ready to rip your gonads off with one command.

I've seen it a dozen times, but 13 can't hurt. Wholesome good fun, clean and entertaining....no sex/hookers, drugs, etc.

I’ve shot three matches since being back in Colorado. I haven’t had a bad time at any of them. It’s nice to be back!
Right on, Belly...good for you.
